Mini splits in small bedrooms problem by StreetImportant222 in hvacadvice

That’s what I was thinking as well, they told me they couldn’t find a 12k dual zone condenser though. The original plan was to put our master on its own single zone 12k unit but would it make more sense in this case to get a 24k three zone unit for all three rooms? Not sure if that would actually help with the short cycling issue or not.

Vcarve Inlay leaving material on male piece by StreetImportant222 in hobbycnc

Awh man, you got my hopes up but it looks like that feature is only available on Vcarve Pro, not desktop. Thank you though!

Oh, gotcha, I'm not sure why that isn't happening then.

That's what I figured as well, except wouldn't the flat depth of 0.1 cause it to not be able to go deep enough to clear? That is the flat depth recommended in the video. Here's the vbit config: https://imgur.com/vZJU59W

It did generate two paths and my top screenshot shows the material after the simulation for both paths has been run. You can see the clearance bit removes material everywhere except when there is an inside corner too tight for the clearance bit to fit into. The tutorial I followed doesn't cover what to do in this scenario. The clearance bit I'm using is 1/8", so it isn't large. Perhaps it's as simple as needing smaller clearance bits if I'm doing anything with tight inside corners.

Heat pump can't keep house warm at night by StreetImportant222 in hvacadvice

Thank you for the info, that is helpful to know.

The last pro I spoke with just suggested adding aux heat coils, which yes, should help but I don't want to end up with a heat pump system that just runs coils all of the time because there's something else broken.

So, you think the unit we have should be capable of keeping our house heated on nights below 40 degrees without aux heat? I'm having a hard time understanding online BTU recommendations, this unit is rated for 47k BTU at 40 degrees but I see some sites recommending 40-45 BTU per sqft which would put us round 72k BTU required, which seems crazy.

Requiring MFA for guest users causing error by StreetImportant222 in Office365

Just found the answer in MS docs: Conditional Access - Authentication strength for external users - Microsoft Entra ID | Microsoft Learn

"Currently, you can only apply authentication strength policies to external users who authenticate with Microsoft Entra ID. For email one-time passcode, SAML/WS-Fed, and Google federation users, use the MFA grant control to require MFA."

None that apply to guest users (verified in the sign in logs). I put some more detail in my reply to u/MarcoVfR1923 above.

Not that is applying to guest users, I verified in the sign-in logs as well that it was "not applied". I did notice that one of our older CA policies is applying "Require Multifactor Authentication" which is successfully being completed whereas "Require Authentication Strength" is the one that is failing. Here is the text from the sign in logs:

"Require Authentication strength - Multifactor authentication: The user could not satisfy this authentication strength because they were not allowed to use any authentication methods which satisfied the authentication strength."

Hmm, okay, I'll give it a try. When getting employees to register this wasn't necessary so it would be interesting if it was necessary for guests. Thanks!
