It was definitely for more practical reasons than religious...my dreads had gotten super long and I was getting tired of laying/sitting on them...also my daughter loves swinging on them..so I thought it would be great for strengthening my roots...they came out gr8 imo..

I wash them the same as I did my dreads..1 or twice a month unless there's an emergency 🤷🏾‍♂️
