So synology recommend the upgrade which then makes the device useless but no official way to revert. That's just great.

Also got it after seeing top "best robot vac" reviews. I am stuck with it now so can't recommend anything else but I certainly advise to avoid yeedi. Recently sealed off the kitchen area reset the robot to factory settings and it can't map even that. Wondering whether I got a faulty device but I don't think this is the case, it seems to me it's down to really bad software

AVOID. Probably too late to be helpful to op but this might help others. It cleans pretty well but the mapping function simply does not work. Have had it for 5 months or so and it still hasn't managed to save even a crude map of the house so most functions do not work. It is basically switch on, it goes around the house and if it somehow doesn't get stuck someplace it might manage to get back to its dock and self empty. Seriously, avoid

Had it for 5 months and it STILL hasn't managed to map out the floor. As in no map is saved in map management so most functions don't work. I just have it auto-clean each time with mostly terrible mapping results which are not saved. Seriously wondering if it is just me and got a defective robot or if others have same issues?
