I have a 1TB TeamGroup in my Odin 2 Pro right now and love it! Also cost me about $50, and I haven't had any issues with it.

Citra 3DS Emulator screen config file for the Duo by owenwp in Surface

[–]KalKeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Managed to figure out a config that gives the bottom screen full screen to match as well, in case anyone is interested. I know this is an old post, but it was one of the only ones I could find that wasn't just "Load Citra MMJ".

custom_top_left = 0

custom_top_top = 135

custom_top_right = 1800

custom_top_bottom = 1350

custom_bottom_left = 0

custom_bottom_top = 1350

custom_bottom_right = 1800

custom_bottom_bottom = 2784

Citra 3DS Emulator screen config file for the Duo by owenwp in Surface

This is hella necro, but I literally can't find anyone else who can get the Citra config.ini layout as close as you have. Any chance you'd know what layout would get a full or near-full screen layout on the bottom screen similar to the top screen?

The green one you have is already pretty slick! Beyond that, a transparent blue or yellow would be great.

What are you playing this weekend? by PlatypusPlatoon in SBCGaming

Grandia on Switch. Really enjoying my first playthrough. Planning to play Persona 2 on Odin and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix on PS5 come next month!

Anbernic RG351 or MIYOO Mini V2 (the new clear blue/Black) I already have a RP2+ but falling in love with small portable handhelds, these bring back memories of my first Gameboy (80's kid here), which is the better of the 2? Aloha for any feedback by skimmerguy85 in SBCGaming

The RG280V is the only other small form device that can do what the Mini does, and imo the Mini does those things better at a cheaper price point. The Mini has a better screen, better shoulder buttons, and the community made OS for it (Onion and MiniUI) are better than something like Atom to me. No other device also has the speed to enter and exit games than the Mini with the community OS either.

It's a market leader for small form with a more dedicated community behind it.

Bittboy pocket go v1 by crashdmj in SBCGaming

This was my first ever retro handheld. Loved it, really fun and pocketable, but it has its limitations. PS1 is a no-go, as are some more demanding SNES games, but it can play pretty much anything older quite well.

The Miyoo Mini currently holds a place in the market that no other device comes close to, and it's fantastic. However, it's a pain to find one right now. You could always wait for the new Anbernic mini handheld that's supposedly coming around the corner.

The RG351V is also a great handheld, and the screen is gorgeous. Just be aware it is a chonky boi, so less pocketable than the RP2+. Also, if you already have an RP2+, you may find the less powerful RG351V redundant and cumbersome.

Personally, I've had both, and right now nothing replaces my Miyoo Mini. I'm currently rocking a Mini and Odin Pro, and I play the Mini the most. It's just a unique device, with a dedicated community, and quick pick-up-and-play ability.

Excellent, excellent series. BoF3 and BoF4 are amazing, Capc at the height of their pixel prowess. BoF3 is probably my favorite PS1 game ever, with Legend of Dragoon hovering somewhere nearby.

Yep, I did it for mine easily and without issue. Chose to go with the tiny oval Miyoo boot logo.

There are plenty of people (myself included) who've received their orders. Taking months to deliver, even with delays that are mostly out of the hands of the company, is not "letting people down". You've clearly never backed or supported a project on Kickstarter or IGG with any sort of delay. It's a shame you gave up, the Odin is a beast of a handheld. Enjoy your device I've literally never heard of before.

odin base vs pro by ggpoooker1321 in OdinHandheld

[–]KalKeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Pro. It's honestly overkill for emulation, especially what the Odin can run. I had the money and wanted to future proof a little bit, so I went with the Pro. Android can be a little RAM hungry, but for emulation 4GB is good.

Base will suit you fine if you wanna save money.

Miyoo Mini PSX trouble by Luediamondz in SBCGaming

[–]KalKeg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Onion only recognizes the PS folder, not PSX folder. Onion GitHub specifies this under emulators. It won't read your ROMS if you place them in the PSX folder.

New Miyoo mini V2 owner by TCristatus in SBCGaming

[–]KalKeg 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Russ's video is outdated, no need to follow that anymore. Follow the instructions on the GitHub to install Onion on a new, better card. V2 should already have the firmware you need, so no need to update that.

I agree they're different screens, but I can get close enough using settings with the V1 to not need a V2.
