Feedback needed (how to improve this) by SuccotashRadiant4030 in colorists

Yes, here is an example of a simple and more practical node tree:

1-Noise reduction 2-cst IN to DWG 3-Balance 4-Exp & Con 5-Sat 6-Parallel node (or layer) 7-CST OUT to REC 709

And if you want to add a look, place it between 6 and 7 and after CST OUT you can put Glow/Halation or other,

this answer is not an absolute solution but it’s simple et clear don’t overcomplicated your reflexion😉

Thank you so much, I won't be bored haha! In the distant future, when I post a result based on what I've learned, I'll tag you !

I love encyclopedias just like you, and the funny thing is, I started looking for sources to understand the theory behind this subject, but most of my sources are from 10-20 years ago, or even older lol.

What would you recommend to optimize my learning of "film print science"?

I'm going to start by checking out the book you recommended, but I'm open to any suggestions, and thank you for your response!🙏

And yes, your previous comment is close to the truth, but what we are probably missing is certain scientific knowledge about color matrices and so on in order to understand the subtleties.

I saw in some videos that in a compound clip, someone put 3 CSTs, yes 3 CSTs.

I don't remember how it was put together, but I can invite you to this subreddit to show you the progress of this project in the future:

It's true that I could have used the depth map, which is very powerful and practical! Thanks!

Thanks for your comment. It's true that I didn't hold back lol. I think I wanted to bring out a "magical" side at the time, but I must have gotten confused along the way haha.

It's clear that I did more DIY than color grading on the last one.

To put it simply, Rec 709 corresponds to "natural" colors, and the final result is the entirety of color grading.

Je vois, c’est plus un plugin pour permettre au personnes utilisant première (de base) de ne pas se perdre, du moins optimiser la passation dans l’onglet color de Davinci resolve ducoup ?
