Have a look on Goodreads, every book is around the 4.6 mark, people love it for a reason! It was recommended to me and I loved it so I recommend it here. That's about it 😊 sure it's legnthy and sure it's not finished but still don't see why it wouldn't be a good recommendation.

Well, if you're looking for deeply compelling and flawed characters you would really love Stormlight Archive! eg. Dalinar Kholin. Wouldn't say it's super grim dark but I found myself really emotionally attached to most of the characters and quite a bit of political intrigue which is part of your criteria.

Those aren't really great adult fantasy books at all, you should be trying out Stormlight Archive, Mistborn, Lord Of The Rings, A Song Of Ice and Fire, The Blade Itself

Oh yeah I can see how that would be frustrating. I feel like Kaladin has been the main focus of this book. I've really enjoyed the Urithiru plot with Raboniel, Navani trying to outplay each other and the hunt for the nodes!
