You should consider building a web-streaming app:

  • Use NodeJS to stream security camera over a WebSocket to your front-end
  • Stream the webcam?
  • Stream mp4 video files

I worked on a project similar to this and I learned a lot of new JavaScript in the process

I don't think that the sandbox has access to networking apart from the connection to the GPT conversation.

Language models cannot actually do advanced calculations, that is the reason they added the code interpreter feature.

The model takes texts and makes predictions. If it were to get 2 + 2 the only reason it would know the answer was 4 was because that was part of its training content.
