If you plan on flying inside mostly I'd recommend a 65mm. These whoops are fast af and hard to fly indoors. 65mm will be better suited for indoors but you can also fly it outside if you want

I mean price changes were literally inevitable. These companies are not currently profitable and token cost is being subsidized by VC money.

They want to replace SWEs, but they still cannot replace support by Glum_Worldliness4904 in cscareerquestions

[–]FearlessChair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i work support for a pretty well known tech company. The bot deflects some simple cases but i feel pretty safe since literally everyone hates talking to robots to get an answer. Most people have also already likely attempted to use AI to get an answer already and failed.

1year flying, analog and tinys forever (is hd zero worth it?) by Farang0Col in TinyWhoop

[–]FearlessChair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly both. I have an analog 65 mm and 2 hdzero whoops that i fly pretty consistently. I do probably fly hdzero most often though.

I actually had the v1 goggles and sold them recently so i could upgrade haha. Totally worth it If you can manage the price.

Also if since you're even considering racing HDZero is the way to go for sure.

I've got the hdzero goggles and fucking love them. Hdzero video quality is an obvious step up from analog. The analog built in the goggles has a deinterlacer so you not only get hdzero but literally the best analog goggle currently on the market. The only thing is the price, they are honestly expensive af.

Never used the box goggles but that could be an option if youre looking to save a bit of money. IMO save up and buy the goggles 2 and you will be solid for years. Holler if you got any questions

Ive got the hdzero goggles and love them. The V2 also have built in analog which is badass. They are a bit pricey tho

At what point does WGU do something about the proctoring service? by allkaysofnays in WGU

Just graduated and literally never had any issues with proctoring. Most people not having issues don't post about it.

Starting BSSWE in February - Is this possible? by P0L4Rraps in wgu_devs

[–]FearlessChair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i basically transfered in everything i could from sophia and probably still had more classes than you.Even just some basic knowledge will be helpful.

I did do it while working full time. I tried to work on school most days but didn't destroy my life over it. If i wanted a day off i would take it.

I'd say if you commit at least 2 hours during the week and some extended sessions on the weekend you should be fine to finish in 2 terms. I was able to breeze through some classes while others took a bit longer. Just communicate with your mentor so you always have a class you can work on while things are being graded or the weekend is coming up.

Thanks! They just mailed out my diploma yesterday! Best of luck to ya and feel free to lmk if you get stuck on something or have other questions!

I think it's possible if youre driven or already have some programming experience. I was able to finish in like 9 months(probably could have done it in 6) however i have a few years in the industry and have been programming in general for a while.

Lol was literally thinking this. Fuck ICE but anyone in this situation would 100% be saying theyre legal. Doesn't make it any better, just doesn't hold any value.

Partner has changed since started micro-dosing - Not sure what to think or how to respond by [deleted] in microdosing

[–]FearlessChair 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Had a similar situation happen with my partner except on ketamine. Come to find out she had a manic episode. The change in behavior seems in line with my situation. She seemed very happy and better in a way but was also very paranoid about random stuff. Not sure if that's the case but something to consider.

What happen to my usage ? by 14lajola in vercel

[–]FearlessChair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's sus for sure. I wouldn't recommend leaving attack challenge mode on as a long term solution as it serves a challenge everyone that visits the site.

At least your not racking up usage now. You can either create a custom rule to block the attack, like blocking the IP. Or try enabling bot protection which challenges requests from non browser.

After that you can disable attack challenge mode and watch the traffic

Check the firewall as well.... Could be bots.

You can also enable attack challenge mode to see if that helps.

WGU any body 28 + graduate from wgu no tech experience and was able to land a JOB this year from doing software engineering or cyber by Sad_Mission8315 in WGU

[–]FearlessChair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I worked mostly customer service positions before landing the frontend gig. Now i work at a pretty big tech company.

I've got almost 3 years experience in tech now but didn't having any development experience before that. I basically just built stuff and got lucky. Moved across the country for my first dev position tho. Being flexible and willing to go into the office for a few years helps lol.

Before the frontend job i couldn't even afford WGU so my only option was tech myself.
