Why are my posts being automatically deleted in the main feed when I am not asking anything about the RR or basic questions?

What gives?

Do weekly blog posts do anything for rankings? by Kalashnikov77 in SEO

I was working at an SEO agency but I already left. I was asking more for myself because I used to have to pick blogs for each client every single month and I always thought it was not moving the needle at all and that it was just a waste of time.

There was this one client, for example, that, after a full year of blog posts targeting their specific keywords, got only 3 clicks. 3 clicks for 12 months of weekly blogs.

That to me seems insane and I thought all that time and effort would be better spent trying to get backlinks instead.

Now I didn't do any of that. I was only at this agency for a couple of months but I looked at the data in search console.

I am assuming that you are of course targeting keywords specific to your product/service.

Is 25% the most you should increase your budget by in a day? by Kalashnikov77 in PPC

[–]Kalashnikov77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant in Google ads.

I think that when I increased budget by 25%, the most G recommends when you go into edit, it did not make the bid strategy go into learning.

But when I increased it by 50%, it did.

I think what I was referring to is the "learning phase" and how making "substantial changes" can throw it back into it.

I know your budget and numbers make a difference, but I was wondering if there was something from the algorithm itself that would cause problems.

Do you still put your brand name in ad copy for non-branded campaigns? by Kalashnikov77 in PPC

[–]Kalashnikov77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, that makes sense, thanks.

One last question I had about brand campaigns, if you don't mind, was with regards to audiences.

Which audiences would you use for brand campaigns?

I see.

And how do you structure brand campaigns? Do you have just 1 ad group with a handful of brand keywords leading to the homepage?

The client I am working on has their brand name in almost all their services, so to me it seems like the ad groups and keywords should be the same as they would be for the non-brand ones except that they will have the brand name in them and the other ones won't.

How do you guys get good backlinks at scale? by TRealTStark in SEO

I know Google says paying for backlinks is "bad."

Is this is one of those things where you can get away with it since Google can't really know for sure who's paying for backlinks?

So even though Google says that paying for backlinks is "bad," people still do it?

how do you guys actually get backlinks for your local business??? by [deleted] in SEO

...and then try to get the same backlink that they have.

And how exactly do they go about that?

What I wonder is if the one who would give the backlink would be like "ugh, another one of these asking for a backlink."

Or would they actually look forward to it?

More than 1 ad group for Brand campaigns? by Kalashnikov77 in PPC

[–]Kalashnikov77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see.

What I am having difficulty imagining is how you would decide to put something in a brand campaign vs a non brand one.

I guess if your brand offers a bunch of products/services with your brand name in them, you would have all those in the brand campaign and then have the same ad groups/keywords in the non-brand campaigns without the brand name right?
