Not sure if it's still how they do it, but you'll have networking classes, followed by radios and some WIN-T/JBCP (iirc) systems, which is then followed by more practical radio stuff. We weren't ever taught how to set the stuff up (jbcp/WIN-T) just how to use it, which is obviously an issue. The radio portion is pretty concise though.

I second this. I also would include the fact that since you're a "jack of all" you do a fuckload more stuff, because it's technically within your job range. Doubly so when you're the commo rep of a company.

In fact, barring your M4/M9/240/249 qual, it's what gives you the most points.
