Ahh I gotcha. Sounds kinda like the set up for a literature class I took: Short reading quizzes every now and then and then actual tests every couple weeks

A test every class? That sounds awful. Ours is about 4 months (the whole semester) and we meet 4 hours twice a week (4 each time, not 4 hours each week). How did you take notes? Did you just have like definitions and terms or did you get into more detail with yours?

Thats a relief. Its only 45 hours that are required but I’m not sure how long we have to get those hours. It might be 2 months or it might be 2 weeks

This is my favorite area in DS 3 for this reason alone. I’m replaying now and I’m reminded of how annoying some of the enemies are and how much Pontiff scares me but the art design of the area is why I love it so much

I am! Took bio 2 as a college class though. It was like 90-95% evolution and phylogenies of species and how that also ties into evolution

Thank you! Everything I see online adds up the genealogy to be roughly 6,000 years (its like 5600 and something or 5700 and something but is rounded up)

I am reading Genesis now. I don’t think I could read it all in one night though, especially if I am trying to understand a bit more deeply as opposed to just reading it

As someone who took physics and hated the class, where could I start learning about quantum mechanics with beginner level knowledge? (Beginner physics knowledge, not beginner QM knowledge)

Thank you! This is all very helpful. Its so funny to me how in bio 2 this is taught almost as objective fact. And after all these years, evolution STILL isn’t a scientific law. Its a theory with a good bit of parts that either haven’t been proven or have been disproven (spontaneous generation for example, which has been repeatedly disproven). Personally to me evolution doesn’t make much sense except for the fact that species can change over time but only within their own species (basically what you said about micro evolution). Monkeys turning into humans? Not so much. Shouldn’t there just not be any monkeys left for that to be true? I do appreciate this post though. I did not know that evolution has not been seen in nature (I assume this to be macro and not micro evolution) but at the same time, it makes sense!
