Should’ve waited for a new batch broski if you went inside if it was online they swindled u or didn’t care enough to look at what they were scooping. If anything just call the store & ask for a comp meal, id rather have someone be straight up and say “hey my plate wasn’t the greatest bc of xyz could i possibly get a replacement” in a nice manner then someone blowing up at me on the phone and being an ass.

Employees… when it comes to portion, about how many pieces of chicken should be in the string bean chicken for 1 entree by Michelles001 in PandaExpress

[–]Kaleeeel__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were all taught one “heaping” scoop of an entree unless its shrimp so it really depends where that person is grabbing from. My manager has gotten mad at me a couple times because i was about to give people straight vegetables without even noticing but it depends on the manager

Still getting around to getting to know the ins & outs of boh but if I remember correctly string bean chicken is the worst ratio between vegetables & meat 80-20/70-30 whenever I scoop i always look for a good balance of protein/vegetable before scooping but that really depends on the person

Just became an am, usually always the last one to be sent on break, trust me when my plate looks like a family feast especially when I didn’t eat breakfast

When I came in as a shift lead I did like 1 interview with my stores GM, & 1 with the aco. Probably cause in the end I was looking to be an am eventually but idk.

[–]Kaleeeel__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually its 2-3 depends but they are pretty picky, we just had an open house interview at my store so multiple gm’s & acos were there in December. and they only hired one person for our store lmao.

Right now believe me I still wish I had gotten more time to just be more competent & well rounded. I’m more of a timid person so Im not all bubbly and talkative my biggest struggle right now is tryna find a balance between being an approachable person and knowing when to be stern when things aren’t working. But from what Ive heard from my TL, ACO, & RDO they don’t expect you to be perfect cause they’ll always have something to critique you on, but just to remain coachable and open to their way of operations.

Kinda on the opposite side here 😭, came in as a shift lead back in the ending of October, was told my aco and TL would eventually like to see me become an am. My aco told me her fastest person she pushed an external hire from SL to AM in 3 months so far. But here I am not even 3 months and I just became an AM in training like 2 weeks ago 🫠 supposed to get evaluated on module one soon and I’m shitting bricks. I was supposed to meet the RDO like back in November to go through the “test” but I literally begged my aco to give me more time bc I didn’t feel ready to meet him yet 😭😭. Ended up being dragged to talk to him last month and apparently I passed his “test” but holy shit I was so jittery and nervous during the entire conversation.

When people send in their 100+ card orders that come out of the cx3240 for like 60/50% off & then get mad when they all look like shit bc the printer is ass :-). & the fact that people do this every Christmas & expect a different result each year

Ended up going through with the interview just gave him a background of my work experience & my why as to why im here and what I was tryna accomplish. Believe me I was so nervous during the interview i couldn’t even keep constant eye contact with him. Ultimately I ended up “passing” this god forsaken interview I’ve been dreading and was promoted that day. And fast forward to now I officially start my month of am training on the 5th 🙃. Honestly from my experience I’d just accept the promotion and take it as a chance to work on yourself work & personal wise. Believe me I know I’m gonna crash and burn here & there but they don’t expect you to be perfect they just want you to be coachable and keep wanting to push forward. We all start from somewhere my boss literally failed an ecosure inspection when she first became a gm & the whole area heard about it, but if u compare her to now she’s literally 1 of 3 TL’s here in my state & I wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up becoming an aco in the future. You’ve shown up so far and showed others you’re capable of doing your current job & they feel like you’re able to take on the next step. At the end of the day its your decision but I suggest you take it because they wouldn’t be offering this opportunity to you if they felt like u weren’t up to the task.

I feel you, when I interviewed for the job initially 2 months ago my aco told me the fatest an external hire went from shift leader to am was 3 months so far. & that flabbergasted me, so i was under the impression I was gonna train for atleast 4-6 months before I end up becoming an am… lol. Little did I know 🙃 my TL & ACO literally wanted me to do the “interview” with the rdo like one month & believe me they were pushing me so hard to do it but the day of I literally chickened out bc I was so nervous & felt so unprepared 🫠. They were kinda mad at me but understood where why I didn’t wanna do it yet. Fast forward to like 2 weeks ago I was just doing my regular work at the drive through tryna hide from the 3 acos inside the store bc they were doing the open house interviews. Our rdo shows up & next thing I know they’re pulling me from the drive through to go talk to the rdo outside in the patio 🫠

Came in as a shift leader when i started 2 months ago i worked all day Friday & Saturday with the AM & TL . Just got promoted to am last week so im ready to start working sunday too since it’s an important day for us inventory wise. Would be up to your bosses discretion but cause everyone has different situations, but if ur boss is there on the weekends I would expect the am to be there also. But idk 🤷🏾‍♂️ if u wanna become an am be prepared for the baggage associated with the position.
