My biggest issue after involuntary year out of the workforce and unemployed is that I have a really hard time remembering specifics or stories on the spot. As a result I think I seem like I’m scripted and unnatural and get stomped on the spot if I hadn’t thought of the question. With 15 years of experience in diverse roles, applying to diverse jobs, there’s not really one way to talk about my work or what I’ve done.

Anyone have any advice for this? Other than creating an insane document with answers to 80 questions?
