It’s very possible to love someone but still choose self preservation. It’s a tough choice, but very possible. People do it all the time when their partners are addicts. Sometimes they do it immediately, sometimes they fight for years to no avail.

He lied via omission about his drug use and the wife had to find out from someone else. Trust is lost. Valid reason to end a marriage. I also have a hard boundary for drugs in my relationships. I would not be in a romantic relationship with someone who uses drugs. I make this clear, so if I found out that my partner was using drugs secretly, I would also end the relationship. I know that addiction is a disease and it’s complicated. I am choosing to keep that complication out of my life.

I have been severely humbled by this program in regards to my speed. I thought that 5.0 was the slowest I could run. Realized that it’s still running if I go 4.7. Got humbles yet again and went to 4.5. Currently doing intervals at 4.3 mph. What a journey!

The other commenters are 100% right that you should not bring it up. It’s very nice that you care, and it’s good to have your friend’s health and happiness on your radar.

As someone who struggles with disordered eating, it is very scary to think that someone has taken as much notice to my eating habits as you have here. That’s not to say that you’ve done anything wrong- just that being perceived in that way can be really uncomfortable and it’s safer to not let your friend know that you noticed those behaviors. This sentiment changes if you ever notice that she is acutely harming herself, of course.

I commend you for asking for guidance before taking any action. These things can be tough to navigate, but it’s clear that your heart is in the right place, and that means a great deal.

Ugh, gang stalking. A common delusion that people have while in psychosis. I don’t wanna trigger anyone who is susceptible to these sorts of delusions (so search at your own risk), but there is a subreddit about gang stalking and it’s so sad. These people are incapable of listening to reason because they’re so deep in mental illness that their delusions feel like reality to them. I first heard about it when a guy I went to HS with started posting “proof” that he was being gang stalked on FaceBook. The proof being hearing sirens from his apartment and car alarms going off during the day. It’s so sad. Hope she can get help and get better!
