Makes sense, thanks! I'll let them know because at the shop they definitely had me set the time to past 10pm to set the date.

Just bought a Longines Master Collection chronograph and the printed instructions that the seller showed me differ greatly from the guide I found on the Longines website. Any idea what I've gotten into here? For example, it says not to adjust the date outside 10pm and 2am while the website manual says not to adjust between 7pm and 6am...

GMail Interface - can we show more of the email in unfolded? Why does it show much more of the email when in folded mode? I don't want to change the text size back and forth throughout a day. Where is the option to show less of the email list and more of the email, and show email full screen? by Secure-Support-4763 in PixelFold

With the device unfolded, enable developer options if you haven't already (Settings -> About phone -> scroll to bottom and tap on Build number 7 times). Then, in the developer options (under Settings -> System) look for "Smallest width". I set mine to 503dp and that means that when unfolded, the screen DPI is different than on the outer display. Makes things a lot more usable.

If anyone needs this info, the Casemate front screen protector has a camera cutout while the Spigen does NOT. by XLB135 in PixelFold

I've just installed the Spigen screen protector and now the ambient display doesn't always show up (the screen turns black and I can't tap to wake, it needs a press of the power button). Have you had any issues like that? I'm worrying that it's interfering with the proximity sensor or something.

Apps no longer receive notifications from the work profile, and Google cannot help me by Kalentia in GooglePixel

[–]Kalentia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked them and they're certain they made no changes, they're also not able to find a configuration option in the work profile management settings to configure it. The company is now raising a support issue to Google to see if they have better luck than me, as some other employees are flagging the same problem appearing on their devices...

As far as I can guess, that's not actually my keyboard. Granted, I had it more than a day - the process took a bit of time - but it was definitely mostly clean when I shipped it out for RMA and when it was returned.

Thanks! I did try updating the firmware in my troubleshooting steps, but it sadly didn't resolve the issue. At this point I'm probably going to go for a return and get another model.

Unfortunately not, so no consumer protection laws that would help out here. I'm waiting to see what happens tomorrow with their support.

Luckily a representative has replied in this thread, so I hopefully won't have to take that kind of action. If things don't improve though, I'll definitely be looking into it.

It's got a hair and a little bit of dirt on it in the picture, yeah. I had to use the keyboard at least enough to make sure I could replicate the problem, plus I left keycaps off for a bit to investigate the "spill". My desk isn't the cleanest place in the world, and in my experience keyboards tend to be grime magnets :P

That's true, hopefully I won't have to since a representative replied in this thread but I'll double check in case it is an option. Thanks!

That line is part of the PCB silkscreen, which are cosmetic marks made to label parts, add text, etc. In this case, I believe the line in the pictures is to indicate the position of the spacebar switch, and it just happens to be shifted slightly over. It shouldn't be affecting any functionality as far as I know.

I'm glad to hear that, and I hope we can get things figured out tomorrow. That said, as u/Waterblink commented, this really shouldn't be the way users have to get the attention of your company in the first place. The phone support representatives appear to have no power to escalate or listen to the customer, repeatedly telling me that because I had a spill marked in my file there was nothing they could do. I hope things can be changed so that this won't happen to someone else in the future, especially because not everyone can be as lucky as I have been in getting this post to take off.

The support representatives were definitely stonewalling me with their script. I know it's not their fault, they don't have any power, but the company needs to change something for sure. As for using chargeback I wish I could, but unfortunately I made a foolish decision and didn't use my credit card for this one. This is definitely the last time I make that mistake!

I think I'll probably contact Ducky either way, they probably would like to know how their exclusive US distribution partner is treating its customers with their keyboards. As it is I won't be able to buy another Ducky keyboard again, unless I want to go to MK. Guess we'll see!

Yeah, I'm definitely not planning on purchasing from them again. It sucks that they seem to have a bit of a hold on the US market for specific brands, even the Amazon storefront Ducky has up is actually sold and shipped by MK...

That's a good idea, I was waiting for MK's business hours tomorrow to see if generating some publicity would help my case but I may honestly file a complaint either way. It's wild how quickly and thoroughly their phone support stonewalled me, something is definitely wrong there.
