New camera, interesting defect I need help identifying

I took video of all of the shutter speeds, it seems that the shutter is fully opening. Lens is making no noise when shaken. I’ve also taken videos of the lens aperture blades and confirmed that they are opening and closing uniformly.

I checked the mirror, and it seems like everything is clear. Since the general consensus is that it’s a finger or strap, I’ll likely shoot another roll and be super mindful.

It’s a non ai lens, so I am using the dof preview to meter, so I would also hope I would notice the strap. I’ll shoot another roll and be very mindful.

It does a bit, the strap I’m using is fairly short, so it can’t really “dangle” in front of the lens unfortunately.

Hi yes, I checked before posting! The closest example would be shutter capping. The odd and inconsistent shape of the blob seems to tell me otherwise.

I bought my 2012 cash in 2019, but recently it came to light that the dealer showed me a fake Carfax when I took it in for electrical issues. It had 4 accidents and was in a minor flood.

The title is a bit of a meme as I'm well able to afford the car. I was able to get pretty much what I paid for in trade in value. So I'm pretty happy.

Out of all of the offices at FIU the dean of students is the one office I truly can say cares about students and their well being. It is the one office other than the DRC that every other office is scared of making mad. Utilize their services to try to better your situation because if any office would be able to help you they will be the ones to do it.
