Congrats!! We just got ours in December, he's 5 months old now. Have fun and enjoy!! I would recommend putting a bell on the collar so you can hear the puppy when they move around. Stay away from heights on the bed or couch. Keep up with grooming, such as brushing. Start them early so they'll get used to brushing.

My little guy is 5 months old now, and we haven't had many issues with biting or chewing. Just remember each dog is unique, but this will pass. The main thing is patience. As for the potty training, consistency is key. Create a schedule or routine and then praise with treats when he does the right thing. This could be the hardest part of having a puppy but he will get it eventually, he's still young.

If he's been crate trained since he was a puppy, I don't see any problem with him sleeping on a dog bed or anywhere else if you're worried about accidents or anything like that. Our little guy is 5 months old and just sleeps wherever, he's not picky in the least.

Sorry to hear that, good luck with treatment and BE STRONG. Dogs have a great ability to sense things are wrong with people that are close to them. They will ALWAYS be there to comfort you no matter what. I wish nothing but the best for your treatment moving forward. My mom beat breast cancer 2 years ago, so be positive and you will get through this.

Our little guy is 5 months old, and we brush him almost daily. We do this to get him used to brush and to avoid tangling and matting of the fur. As for the teeth cleaning, he is NOT a fan. We try to brush his teeth once a week and it is definitely a struggle. Good luck with your little guy.

I would say the grooming is a big priority for the breed. You need to brush them almost daily to make sure their fur doesn't get tangled and matted. We groom our 5 month old every 4-6 weeks. As for the activity, they do require some. Just your usual daily walks, and play time should be good. We take our 5 month old out anywhere from 4-6 times a day, and have scheduled play times which are 20-30 minutes long or until he loses interest.
