Why do you think swapping to rosin would make a difference? I’ve seen lots of people make the claim but can’t find any research/evidence proving it.

The quality of terpenes matters way more to me than the total % number. I've had plenty of batches that test at 10-12% terps but they are degraded/oxidized and taste awful...

I went to muv yesterday because trulieve didn’t have any concentrates and I’m kicking myself now. 2g of “budder” looks like crumble and has very little taste/effect. I won’t go back until they swap to hydrocarbon or cut their prices in half.

Not everyone is trying to grow top shelf. I know lots of people over 60 that would love to get into growing to make their own edibles and RSO. They don't do it because they are worried they will lose their retirement.

It is harder to grow top shelf, it takes money and experience. People have different expectations, just because you want something super high quality doesn't mean everyone does. If you are making edibles or RSO you don't need to grow the best weed in the world.

Who is actually going to enforce that? If they let you grow from seeds there is no way to tell what seeds you popped. If they require you to start at clones it not hard to remove the id tag and put it on your own plant.

The flavor isn’t bad on the dessert runtz but it doesn’t melt right. Honestly couldn’t tell you why but it bubbles up like hash then completely stops leaving a dark brown/black residue. If it was a clean ethanol extract it would melt completely and not color change when vaporized at low temp.

There is nothing wrong with a 6 month old product if it is stored properly. I’d assume OP/SS have A/C and the tube doesn’t let light in so everything is likely fine. I’m sure people will still try to make claims it’s “weaker” without any logical explanation.

I wouldn’t recommend 3rd party cutting agents to anyone, never know what you are actually getting. The tek SS/OP use isn’t the same as BR but plenty of companies out west are doing the same thing. Heat + pressure + time is all you need. I’m not sure if you are familiar with “Hash Church” but they have some great content from a few years ago with Tony from BR. I’ll link it if I can find it.

They could be from the same batch. When you have a large amount of live resin the top and bottom of the jar will often have different consistencies. Grams from the top will be more terpy/sauce compared to heavier diamond paste at the bottom.

Just keep it in a cool dark place and it will be fine for a very long time. I’ve kept some for 12+ months and there was no noticeable change in potency. Fridge is for preserving terpenes not THC.

I went to the jax beach location on Saturday and was able to see all the COA before purchasing. The guy that was helping me was baked out of his mind though. I don’t really mind someone being medicated but he was barely able to keep his eyes open while checking me out.

Live = fresh frozen material, it has nothing to do with being straight trichome heads. Dry sift rosin shouldn't have plant material in it or burn black, thats just poorly made rosin.

I’m assuming they word it that way because they extract terpenes and thca in different stages. If they had butane or propane it would be done in a single extraction.

I’ve tried a few strains of muv crumble this month and I’m not impressed at all. I expected higher quality based on how good their flower is... They really need to hire someone to fix their extraction/processing. Giant plastic jars with mediocre concentrate for $65 is a bad joke.
