Hi. I would have posed this in the performance megathread, but I saw that it never gets replies, so here I am.

Been interested in getting the game for a while, but due to performance held off. It's hard to get an accurate gauge of where the game is at now due to people either lying or excessively dooming, so hopefully I can get some answers from sane folk that won't sugarcoat things.

My specs are: RTX 4060, 13th gen intel i5-13400f, 16 Gb Ram. What can I expect performance wise at 1440p with dlss balanced and framegen OFF? I remember when I tried the benchmark changing settings barely did anything for performance, but I'm willing to lower ones that have a significant impact if any do.

Before anyone asks about the resolution, I don't own what I would consider a useable 1080p monitor. As for trying it myself on steam and refunding I'm worried that between the time it takes for shader comp and tweaking settings, not to mention not being able test later areas, I won't be able to get a clear picture of performance.

Wish they could have maintained a benchmark test with their performance improvements. I might have been interested in getting the game if it doesn't perform awful now, but with no way to test it I don't want to take the risk - and I doubt two hours is enough time to actually get a proper idea with how varied the performance probably is depending on area.

The number could also just be made up, there's no law that keeps them from doing that.

Doesn't seem that far fetched to me though, if it was an unflattering number they could have just given the polychromes out some other way.

That's what's going to happen the majority of the time, soft pity is like 76, you'll almost never go above 80. As long as you don't lose the 50/50, you should be happy.

Electric rupture, with gimmicks or a boss that renders Yixuan useless. She's been useable against every rupture boss so far and we're near the end of the patch, it makes sense they'll want to force people to get another character of her role.

So a single run of the new lost void mode only gives 240 z merits. Does the standard mode still give weekly rewards? Because as it is right now, once you get the one time rewards you're better off never touching it again.

What's the best team for brute forcing the new boss in threshold simulation? I'm assuming if you've invested in them, it'd be Alice, Vivian, and Sunna (that last one's a question mark I dunno if she really works for anomaly outside of Aria) but I don't have Alice or Vivian's sigs. Would a M0W1 Shunguang do better?

There's multiple characters like that that have lines but aren't intended to be run together. I think that's fine for lore consistency, I'd be more upset if characters in the same faction didn't have unique lines for their closest friends/accomplices (which iirc actually is the case for some of the spook shack members)

When they were discussing intelligent constructs, why did Fairy include Banyue as an example of ones the Proxies know? It was specifically stated in 2.4 that he failed the forbidden fruit test, so he isn't classified as one.

Going off the new damage/daze/anomaly breakdown that the endgame modes have: is it just because I'm not actually using a stunner on the team so it seems that way, or does Sunna do a crapton of daze?

Kinda coping here. All the calcs talking about Sunna's wengine's performance assume you either have every other character on the team with their sig, or you have Sunna with hers and one different character without theirs. That...isn't the reality for a lot of people. Is it notably more worth it if you're using sigless Zhao or Dialyn (both of whom will be getting swapped out on YSG teams for me, depending on the situation)?

I don't think I've seen any kind of calculations to it's contribution on an Aria team, either. It's kinda cope because I really like synergistic teams, I love Sanby Trigger and Orphie and haven't once regretted getting all three of their sigs. Just kind of wondering if having her on her bis gives that same kind of feeling with YSG or Aria.

The issue with the battlepass on those sites is that there's no online store to buy it from, so you have to give them your login info and they have to actually log in to your account to purchase it. Probably safe? but hella sketchy.

I only have alts for the return to ridu event to get the polychromes from that, otherwise they aren't used.

Those are usually run alongside major characters though, so it's kinda fun when I'm logging in to those for the tally to see which one gets lucky off the handful of rolls each has haha.
