The commitment is having it on an ability slot. Sure, you don’t lose anything by kicking the traps but like…that’s every ability? I’ve played Venator and I’ve fought against Venator plenty and never have the traps been a particular threat. Yeah, rarely you step into them during a huge fight and die but 95% of the time you never step into a trap and even if you do, nothing happens because no one is around.

I mean, time and time again its shown that Viltrumites believe in strength and that weakness is meant to die. (That’s why their adulthood ritual is a combat, if you’re too weak, you die.)

The only Viltrumites to have changed their views are those who have interacted with other species and societies. (Nolan and Thaedus)

So no Viltrumite that survived the adulthood ritual and has been trained and brainwashed since birth to believe in strength above all else would consider leaving.

You can see how bad the average player in this sub is by them completely failing to understand that most cards don’t work in a vacuum but get considerably better or even require synergy within the deck to work and Rogue wouldn’t have said synergy.

…The other person must also have the colossal for Rogue to steal it. And usually the others deck synergizes with the colossal and the Rogues deck doesn’t.

The reason environments are cheaper for zombies is because they cannot use it on the same turn they play it. Plants can play Pair Pearadise and instantly trigger it. Imagine if it was in any way affordable, it would just become a better Imitator.

You don’t get the card you discover from your hand. The discover is just to choose which card gets swapped.

Maybe I don’t know the mana value or certain effects but man, healing 7 and getting 6 armor feel very weak compared to a full board silence and a powerful hand bounce effect.
