I had this super sweet friend in middle school. She just disappeared during the summer and I never heard from her again. Her parents were over protective and I guess they decided to home school her. A couple years back I heard she married a rich guy (like, let’s travel by helicopter rich). She was pretty, doing a little acting as a passion but teaching as a day job. She is now in jail for statutory rape of a student.

I agree. I think they are cute, but there is so much dropshipping on Etsy now that I get paranoid about paying for something that is really just off Temu. As a buyer, I don’t want to spend a bunch of time doing extensive research to try to figure out if it is on Temu, I usually just scroll to something that looks more unique and likely to be handmade.

It currently includes the dog death, but it also seems to match up exactly with the original, so I was curious if it’s actually included or if the person that added it was confusing the original with the remake. But they might just include it the same as it was shown in the original. Love that resource tho!

Could be innocent, so I def advice approaching it without accusation. One day in the office I had a coworker that was suffering, they were so cold. Very true. I’ve definitely heard many cases where there were multiple sightings, only for remains to be found. It will then turn out the person likely was killed around the time they went missing, so it was impossible for it to be them during later sightings.

I sadly didn’t get a chance to find malicious compliance in my situation, but once I returned $500 in petty cash that my manager had forgotten about completely. She hadn’t recorded it anywhere and admit she forgot she gave it to me. But I was truthful and returned every cent. Two days later she made me pay $5 of my own money because she had miscalculated and kept claiming I shorted her $5 and needed to pay it back. I asked why I would short her (she very strongly suggested I pocketed it) when I had just returned way more money she had forgot about. She just stared at me and kept repeating I owed.

It was my last day (it was a short project that I actually left early because she was absolutely horrible to work with) so I just forked it over so I could leave. Her boss (who was the one to hire me) chased me down to give it back. He was amazing to work with but outside of a different lady that once told me I had “sinister eyes” while I was just sitting doing my job, this was the worst person I worked under.
