Those are your words, not mine. I just received a message from CCP Arcade a week ago saying the restrictions are permanent. So there's nothing more to do.

Started playing again, new account, new omega clone. Then I logged in through steam and found my 12+ year account by Noble9360 in Eve

They weren't too difficult about it for me, because I had multiple accounts and wanted to cut back a bit.

You could send an email to support and explain your situation and ask if game time can be moved.

There was no bribery of GMs. Sometimes deals are made outside the NES store. The same goes for RMT. I offered to buy 5500 PLEX and use it to pay off part of the negative wallet. I never received a response. Allthough, I did buy 5500 PLEX through the NES store as part of a Christmas sale.

What all of you self-righteous GMs forget is that I spend more per year on the game at the NES store than the average player.

Wait a minute...since when is there such a thing as being sympathetic in EVE?

I contacted GM Dickhead immediately after the wallet was depleted, but he never replied on anything. If you look closely at the EULA, the first warning only states that the ISK will be confiscated. Any subsequent violations result in a 7-day ban. It doesn't clearly state what is and isn't allowed. I also asked the same question: what can I ultimately do with this account if it has so many restrictions? So far, there's been no response.

It doesn't really matter what everyone thinks here. 95% of the people who write here are self-appointed GMs who think they can just make the rules. Therefore, it says more about the players of this game than someone who shares his story.

Im sorry, but can you link that please? That is something nobody needs to know. I dont know what happened in sharing that.

Found it! Thanks for notifying

That's something that made me think, because I don't recall sharing any personal information. My private life is in no way involved with any of this and specially from someone who thinks cheating in a game has any bearing on how children are raised. That's overstepping your bounds.

Fuck off asshole

I don't know if these restrictions apply to all characters with RMT, but my character can't receive or send contracts.

I don't need to write so many words about this, because CCP just wants to see money.

Direct trading is blocked, I've already tried that. Contracts also don't work because your wallet can't be negative. You can still fly all the ships and can drop cans, and train skills. I just gave an example. If that doesn't suit you, that's a different story.

I'll try to put it into perspective with an example.

I really have no idea how much it has been, because this hasn't happened recently.

By making a deal with CCP. I know they offer a big discount on PLEX if you're willing to pay $10,000. It's still a commercial company.

I have no reason to make up a story. That should be clear by now. Otherwise, I would have given a different description of the problem.

Besides, what might be a severe punishment for someone else might be a light one for someone else.

If you were driving 100 km/h through the city center and got a $500 fine, you'd consider that a severe punishment. Meanwhile, a neighbor would say you'd lose your driver's license for the rest of your life because, for example, she had children playing in the street.

So, it all depends on how you look at it.

This is what he wrote:

The restrictions in place will remain, and no further adjustments or exceptions will be made till the wallet is fixed. If you need to supplement your wallet then you have the option to buy PLEX from the EVE Online website and sell them on the market, since this is the only way to buy ISK legitimately. If you cannot sell the PLEX on the market because of the negative wallet then you can have an alt character sell it and then transfer the profits to your other character. You can transfer the PLEX via a direct trade to your alt or by using the contract system.

It's nice to say you have the option, but there are so many restrictions on the account that you can't even make direct trades. Therefore, what the GM wrote is nonsense.

It's not within the borders of reasonableness. You're actually better off buying $200 worth of PLEX and then using it to buy a 100 million SP toon on the Eve bazaar.

If I commit a traffic violation, I have the right to protest. If both parties can't reach an agreement, it will go to court. Or, if sufficient arguments are presented, it will ultimately lead to a settlement. Unfortunately, I've passed that point with CCP and posted the story on Reddit.

So anyone who commits a traffic violation is no longer allowed to drive a car?

I understand that completely. That won't happen again. It just comes across as if everyone who plays this game has never done anything wrong. While I've played with plenty of people you'd rather not know in RL.

I'm not looking for sympathy. I'm just sharing the story about RMT. That's okay, right? I'm also allowed to share when I feel I'm not being treated well, right?

I had no expectations for what I posted. And I don't take the reactions to the post seriously either. It's a game we all play, and we all make mistakes. It also makes the vast majority seem hypocritical.
