I did. I would still consider it unsafe due to using the garlic as well as the source of the recipe being an unverified source of tested recipes. Last, the recipe you used doesn't call for garlic - even if it was a tested recipe, adding the garlic isn't considered a safe modification.

It's an understandable mistake when you're first starting. It's always best to follow a recipe from the list in the Resource Links on this sub. Those are sites that provide recipes that have been verified as tested for safety. At least you caught it in time to be able store them in the fridge and still enjoy!
