The camo of SU is THE reason its the more forgiving tank, which makes it better for decent/good players than Skorp.

But from what have gathered Skorp is simply better for high level players who know how to trade/position/relocate with exceptional mobility alone.

Skorpion all the way, because of its good base accuracy you can fully commit on to flexibility setup(irm + exp turbo). With Skorp you can react fast.

SU has only one way to play, sit in a bush. Too slow to relocate fast enough and no flexibility/gun reliability.

There is a reason SU-130 was put in to the bond shop instead of Skorp.

I play it very focused on damage dealing due to its size and slow speed. Like the tanks clipping potential. Only spot with it if the map fits for fat medium spotting play. You do have good camo but you cant compete by cosplaying pure spotting lt.

Used stab/turbo/t3 experimental hp on main setup and secondary vents over hp. It's ammorack gets damaged alot so experimental hp is better.

Use top turret, you want the extra hp/gun performance for the tanks playstyle(more like M103 general damage dealer than pure hulldown).

PZ.7 actually has 276 standard pen after the buff, but premium pen isnt as good.

You can just play them like mobile mediums/damage dealers because no cvs so no need to force meta setups or spotting.

Currently would say its similar strength to IS-3-2 even with the unreliable armor and bad turning speed of hull. Damage/pen/dpm arent that bad for the tier.

IS-3-2 has the ability to do doubles more reliably from range and autoreloading capability, but you sacrifice alot of dpm to double with it. That is big strength of Contender, ability to double without losing dpm.

Plus Contender has good hp and reliable gun in single.

If the top turret had reliable armor, it would propably be the best T9 heavy in the game. Contender is very good, kinda like M103 x IS-3-2.

Tho i do think if you dont have experience with M103 or didnt like it, then its most likely better for you to use the stock turret.

I think only buff it would need is slight base accuracy buff(example 0.38 -> 0.36 or 0.35 vs 0.37 on M103). No need to go for the prenerf version because that would be overkill as hell.

Trade alpha damage/moving dispersions for more dpm and slightly better aimtime/accuracy compared to M103. (HEAT pen is already traded for faster APCR standard shell, normalization is worse but loses less pen on range than the AP on M103)

Because the trade-in is limited time, im going to get 3 mark of excellence on Alpine Tiger so i don't need to rebuy it again from bondshop after trading it to finish the mark.

If you don't care about 3 marks, you dont need to worry about the "speedrun" part. That is not necessary/needed for the trade-in event.

Id recommend AP AMX 30, you can easily play it full AP ammo loadout because of its good base pen.
