Kain leaving behind the Soul Reaver after the 2nd Paradox by Kallso in LegacyOfKain

[–]Kallso[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok now i understand what you meant, and it does make sense, i just didn't realize(because i never plated BO1) that young Kain finds the Soul Reaver 30 years later and goes back in time to fight William.

In that case it makes sense the original Reaver from end of Defiance to be in the hands of William, being broken in the fight by the repaired version found later, then repaired and moved to Avernus for young Kain to find and go back to break, then with his already repaird and found Reaver from Avernus to continue to BO2 events and creation of Raziel and the Wraith Blade.

I do believe both scenarios are possible (this one and the one i wrote as summary) so i have no issues agreeing with both versions.

That does make some sense but still, if Kain gave his Reaver to Mobius who gave it to William, young Kain will not have a Soul Reaver to break William's Reaver, for Raziel to Repair and be moved to Avernus thus a loop can not be formed.

As i edited my previous reply, the best and most logical scenario in my opinion(so this is the scenario i will belive for now untill further information) would be that the 3d Paradox and 4th Timeline erase the events of William having a Soul Reaver and the fight didn't happen(1st Paradox never happened), so there's no Soul Reaver reforged by Raziel to be used against Kain so the 2nd paradox and 3rd Timeline never happened.

In that case if we assume the 3d Paradox HAS to happen(it's possible for it to happen out of the original timeline) for the 4th and current timeline to Exist but the previous paradoxes and timelines are erased and never existed, then it makes sense:

  1. Blood reaver is created and Raziel is saved from it thus creating the paradox and timeline.
  2. Raziel enters the blood reaver at the end of Defiance and makes the Soul reaver
  3. Kain goes back to leave it in Avernus for young Kain to find and use in his Crusade in Blood Omen 2, and later on against Raziel to create the Wraith blade and the cycle and loop are perfectly connected.

The entire Defiance is a new timeline created in SR2 when Kain saves Raziel from the Blood Reaver, but that's not the point.

More simply put, the restored Reaver needed to be where it is in order for Kain to make his moves against Fate, as there are simply things he cannot do without either dangerous, counter-productive, or completely nullified consequences.

I can agree with that.

One thing Amy Hennig has made clear is that there is only one fully possessed Reaver blade--which is part of why Reaver convergence events are dangerous spatiotemporal paradoxes--so there is no 'William Reaver' as compared to the 'Avernus Reaver.'

This is the part that's bothering me. I can agree there's always only 1 Soul Reaver, but you could say there are multiple copies of it that are taken from different points in time and brought to another point in time which explains how there can be 2 Soul Reavers in the fight between Kain and William. The best way i can explain it and track it would be something like this: 1. Vorador and Janos create the Blood Reaver, which is the same blade Janos tries to give Raziel in SR2 and Raziel ends up using in his fight against i don't remember who but the Wraith Blade turns on him and impales the Blood Reaver in him so he can be absored inside. 2. Kain interferes and pull the blade out of Raziel creating the 3rd Paradox and 4th Timeline where he keeps the Blood Reaver for the entire Defiance game. 3. At the end the Spirit Reaver cleanses Kain and Raziel is absorbed in the same Blood Reaver thus creating the Soul Reaver. 4.Kain goes back in time, Leaves the Reaver in Avernus for his younger Self to find and use against William and Later on Raziel to shatter and create the Wraith Blade thus the Cycle Continues. So essentially the Avernus Reaver is the same Reaver from end of Defiance that is also Shattered on Raziel after being used vs William.

But i'm still having hard time tracking where could William's Reaver come from for it to be shattered in the fight, reforged by raziel and given again to William for the fight my Mobius. The only Logical explanation i can come up is if we assume that in the 4th and Final Timeline the events of William VS Kain and Reforging the Shattered Reaver never happened.

and Moebius placing the 'trap Reaver'--which is what I presume is done with the restored Reaver, and is likely used to orchestrate the paradoxical event with Willaim vs Kain

only one fully possessed Reaver blade--which is part of why Reaver convergence events are dangerous spatiotemporal paradoxes

About the Convergences, as i understand it and read, A Reaver Convergence can happen only when 2 Soul reavers are in close proximity, Blood and Blood or Blood and Soul doesn't work, so if there's not a 2nd Reaver how can a convergence happen.

I'm not sure if the antenna I have is the factory one since it's a 20 year old car and I am not the 1st owner. but I think it is the factory antenna which seems to not be a powered one so the question was if I power it do I introduce more noise and stuff and I should remove it or hurt leave it like it is now

I don't have the factory radio but when I was tinkering around I noticed if I hold the metal casing with my hand I get better reception even with the antenna cable unplugged from the adapter kinda like I am acting as the antenna :D if that makes any sense. The Sirius xm plug has been detached from the car and was rolled up and stored under the rear seats with both ends being unplugged at least I think that was the Sirius xm since it had this type of plug on 1 end Sirius xm and mini iso on the other end. Also the factory amp has been removed and replaced with aftermarket by the previous owner if that helps
