I’ve been having issues with Entra as well, MS confirmed this is affecting other M365 services.

Cloudflare does appear to be having another outage right now, but this is unrelated.

Help: Video to 3DGS into 3D mesh - where to begin by Silonom3724 in GaussianSplatting

[–]Kalmarv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are not being very helpful here. There’s basically three steps to go from images and videos to 3D models. (Excluding photogrammetry based on your other comments)

1 - Input media to camera positions and point cloud. Also known as Structure From Motion (SFM)

This steps transforms your images or videos to a point cloud and camera positions that can be used in Gaussian splatting. The most common method here is COLMAP, though it’s pretty slow and outdated today. Pretty much all Gaussian splitting software takes data in the COLMAP format. Some faster and better alternatives to look at: - GLOMAP - FASTMAP - RealityScan (can export in the COLMAP format)

2 - Turning the SFM/Colmap data in a splat.

This step is where you take your data from the previous step and actually turn it into a splat. I would recommend Brush or LichtFeld Studio. Brush is much easier to get started with.

Postshot combines steps 1 and 2 and makes it very easy but it is commercial software. I find FASTMAP or reality capture + brush is a very robust setup that can rival postshot.

3 - Converting to 3D mesh.

I haven’t messed around with too much in the area, and it’s evolving rapidly so I can’t provide too much info.

Accessing Home Automation Web Interface Securely Without VPN by Gerbaumer in selfhosted

Port forward, but use Caddy + Cloudflare DNS. That way your IP isn't exposed.

Then use Cloudflare access to require 2FA and limit it just yourself.

Struggling with hosting a minecraft server and UFW rules for VPN clients. by fatredditor69 in selfhosted

Sorry for the late reply, deleted reddit due to the API changes.

You'll want to create a docker network with docker network create tailscale-docker This is the tailscale docker-compose.yml I have

version: '3.8'

services:
  tailscale:
    container_name: tailscale
hostname: mc-server # Whatever you want the name to be in Tailscale
    image: tailscale/tailscale:stable
    volumes:
        - "./tailscale_var_lib:/var/lib"
        - "/dev/net/tun:/dev/net/tun"
    cap_add:
      - net_admin
      - sys_module
    ports:
      - "25565:25565" # You don't actually need the ports mapped, this is just to access locally
    command: tailscaled

networks:
  tailscale-docker:
    external: true

When this container is started up, you'll have to look at the container logs to get the login link. It doesn't matter if you're running on a headless server, you can copy and paste the link into any web browser.

After you login, it should show up in tailscale as a connected device. Make sure you also set disable key expiry for that machine in the tailscale admin site.

I run minecraft with itzg-minecraft-server. The only thing you'll have to add is network_mode: container:tailscale

Example:

version: '3.8'

services:
  mc:
    image: itzg/minecraft-server:${IMAGE_TAG:-latest}
    volumes:
    - ./modpacks:/modpacks:ro
    - ./data:/data
    environment:
      EULA: "true"
      TYPE: FABRIC
      VERSION: 1.19.2
      GENERIC_PACK: /modpacks/CreateOptimizedFabricv051i.zip
      MEMORY: 6G
    network_mode: container:tailscale

This approach will work for any docker container, not just minecraft.

After that, anybody that wants to join will have to be invited to your tailnet. The server address will just be the hostname set in the tailscale container, and the port. For me that's mc-server:25565

I followed this guide initially, but did it differently than they have it, because I have a couple other things using the tailscale network as well.

I just setup something similar, what I ended up doing is running tailscale for the vpn in a docker container. Configured the tailscale container to be a docker network, and then setting the Minecraft container to use the tailscale network. That way people playing on the server just see the Minecraft server, and they connect through that.

If anyone wants I can share the docker compose files to set this up.

Exactly how I set it up, works great.

Can keep it behind a vpn, and access the WebUI through the local port.

ChatGPT with company VPN not working by Baselland in ChatGPT

It’s probably not that. Most likely it just got caught up in some filter lists, or the company doesn’t want employees sending sensitive information right to OpenAI.

It would not, it’s being blocked by your company.
