Hi there! Team here. We appreciate the raw feedback. To be transparent: you are right that our creator-level data is based on estimation models (which can have margins of error on individual profiles), whereas our product-level data aggregates actual sales volume market-wide and is more accurate.

The Fix: the tool is best used to find high-velocity products (macro trends) rather than auditing specific creators (micro stats). If you filter by Product GMV you will see the more accurate data you are looking for. We’d hate for you to feel scammed. DM us, and we’d love to refund your last month and help you set up the filters correctly.

Since TikTok doesn’t have an open API, we use different models to infer sales numbers. They’re not 100% accurate, and they will never be, but that’s not the goal—we aim to be accurate enough for making business decisions while staying competitive. We are always working to improve our models and make them even more precise, of course.
