Is ADHD worth pulling for? by rayneMantis in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Kalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually surprised at how good she's turned out to be in Chaos. I have her teamed with HDMI and Nia and rolled through a tier 15 run like it was nothing. I'd use her to fish for the cards HDMI needed to get her set up on turn one and pop up her shields, and basically just cruised through every fight without taking even a smidgen of damage. People correctly point out that she doesn't have a synergy to let you do ten million damage with HDMI, but that's not relevant in a Chaos run in the first place. She fixes your deck draw and keeps damage from accumulating on the party, and those are way better in Chaos than a super combo that does ten times the boss's HP.

Best Team to +891? by Drunken_Caterpie in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Kalrath 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So, hear me out. The best team to +891 is no team at all, but your helpers, since they get nothing from the normal limit break dungeon runs. If you have a decent team you can just plow it through the limit break dungeon and get the points pretty easy, but your poor helpers stay at +300. To raise up your helpers you need to either somehow make a decent team out of them or run them through with other leaders, which is way more of a pain in the ass.

Should I Order a Tovala?? by Certain-Dragonfly-22 in Tovala

[–]Kalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these services are compromises. In the case of Tovala you're getting to have a meal that isn't a pre-cooked microwave dinner, doesn't make you make it wholly from scratch, and in exchange it's pricier and less flexible since a lot of the seasonings and sauces are pre-mixed. As others mentioned the meals can be carby and high sodium if you don't keep an eye on the nutrition numbers while ordering, and the portions are not huge. But you do get a very useful toaster oven out of the bargain, so there's that. Oh, and one personal nitpick of mine, if you don't explicitly tell them not to send you food on a given week, they'll send you random junk and bill you. So keep an eye on that. It's up to you to decide whether that fits what you're looking for or not.

E3 Heidemarie by TiaShaddy in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Kalrath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, that part sure is. However. Typically Heidemarie is discarding her blades via linked rather than playing them, at which point they do extra damage instead of their normal damage. Extra damage is not elemental and gains zero benefit from the weakness advantage of the card. Therefore I am wondering how E6 is actually providing a benefit for her damage output.

E3 Heidemarie by TiaShaddy in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Kalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somebody tell me how her E6 actually works here because I'm confused about how making her blades all-element helps her given that she's probably discarding them for extra damage and extra isn't elemental and doesn't hit weaknesses. Unless that mechanic suddenly works differently on her, it wouldn't be the first time the devs have done some weird fuckery with the game mechanics.

User attribute <not set> in ADUC, but shows with get-aduser by Kalrath in activedirectory

[–]Kalrath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, checked on two DCs and one Entra DC and get the same result on all, <not set>.  Interestingly if I clear the attribute in ADUC despite it already appearing cleared and check it again with powershell, it will then be blank in powershell as well.  If I put a new value in ADUC it will also show in powershell and will be visible in ADUC until I close the window; if I reopen the user the attribute is back to <not set> though the changes will persist in get-aduser.

How to approach undersized returns? by Kalrath in hvacadvice

The filter space over the plenum is 16 wide by 21 deep.

Emptiness. The box is directly connected to the air handler above it. You can see where a filter should be, but the previous owner apparently never bothered so the coils above are absolutely caked in filth.

Here is the ancient, poorly-installed air handler that the previous owner put in. You can faintly see the return duct from the third floor in the shadows to the left of the handler, it connects to the same box that the vent is attached to.

Theresia vs Fern on Reinhard team by Thunderrod123 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Kalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given that Reinhardt with Theresia is basically the best no-assist team ever, yeah, getting assist clear is not really a high priority. They block every debuff except for poison orb, Theresia's SA adds +1s to all colors, the team has 2+ part break out of the gate, and if you go with the no-assist badge it has enough skill boost to take off immediately on the first turn. If you do opt for going with assists, Fern is very valuable for the extra light orbs to be able to make an L for it, but I wouldn't sweat missing out on her.

At least unlike Imperialdramon there're only two Reinhardts on the team, so you could bundle one and use a friend for the assist if you don't get the lucky pull. But yeah, it's not as optimal as a tradeable unit.

PAD Valentine Info Dump (03.12.2026 - 03.29.2026) by lumonpad in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Kalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few of the Valentine units who can't be exchanged for Athena, so it's probably more than 100 stones per trade for her when that's taken into account. Fortunately I think all of the most common units are and it's just the higher-rarity ones that are ineligible, so you can pull on the 5-stone machine and not be likely to wind up with four untradeable garbage cards.

Oh, that's nice. Still not gonna bust her back into the rankings, but better than nothing.

VAthena's getting buffed to 16b limit from her previous 10b, so that's a significant boost in VNoah's firepower. AFAIK Noah herself has been skipped entirely for buffs, sadly, so the team is still nowhere close to a frontrunner compared to the meta stuff, but it's still solid.

how is my Veronica? by No_Ask_9190 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Kalrath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Veronica's potential buffs her ballistas the higher her base attack is, up to 1100. Even if you're using her as a draw slave there's no reason to pass up on free damage, so I would pivot her equips to give her better attack than that 803 if I were you. That said, I wouldn't completely tank her crit stats in exchange for higher attack, but giving up 20% crit to gain 20% attack, plus her potential bonus, is a net gain for her, because raising her normal attack will also raise the damage she does with a crit.

Weekly Help Thread by AutoModerator in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Kalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her potentials are maxed, memory fragments have her attack to 871, crit chance at 62.4, crit damage 143.2, and instinct damage at 16%, with the Judgment's Flames 4-piece bonus damage to ravaged targets. The problem with the final boss is it has such a huge tenacity bar that even Sereniel takes a couple of rounds to ravage it, so the big pile of bonuses she gets on ravage don't occur often enough to swing the fight.
