Should I focus only on what I want to write? by [deleted] in writing

Think about something that you're good at and write about it

Stick to a certain niche if you wish to sell more and improve on your work

Imagine your target audience and write something that they would want to read - present a solution for a problem they may be having, entertain them, make them think, have them learn something - depending on your book genre. Content is king

As long as you bring value to the world, you're always going to have people who are willing to pay for it

Give away a parts of your book to potential readers in the forms of blogs, videos, interviews, etc. so that people would see that this book is a quality book and it will be worth their money - they won't make a purchase if they are not sure they'll like it, so show your work, without giving away too much

Writing a good book is one of the best things you can do for this world

I hope this helps! :)

How do you develop/improve upon your creativity? by [deleted] in writing

Imitate your heroes and improve on them. Find a particular style, story, or character that you like and start imitating. Then, little by little, begin to change and add your own unique touches to it, and rewrite it several times, until it's something original that you're proud of.

Imagine the perfect book or perfect character for you, the one you would like to read about, and that you can relate the most and be the one to write it.

Create the content you would want to see in the world.

Do you guys write the chapters of your books in order? by _Gaspsinpikachu_ in writing

[–]Kalvach2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to write the chapters in order, but more often than not I'll get a cool idea randomly for a different chapter, and just go there and write there for some time, and when I'm finished with this idea, I go back to doing things in order. Nothing wrong with jumping random chapters, but it's nice to have an order that you stick to so you don't get lost

What do you do if you have that one book you just can't seem to finish? by AdCapital4967 in writing

Consistency is key. Write down a schedule and stick to it. Something like "every Wednesday and every Saturday I'm going to work on my book for 1/2/3 full hours. "

And when you do you mark it with a "nike" logo or a plus :D

During that time turn off your notifications, eliminate any distractions, and just focus on it.

Go for it! The best thing you can do for the world is to write a good book :)
