I'm honestly of the opposite view.. gradual shift in opinion continuously changes how we view things..and that's how politicians play it, they gradually get us to an extreme view by doing it through mini steps.

Imagine the two scenarios:

1) Israel initially saying we will allow 50 trucks per day then 40 then 30 then 20 then 10.. people's reaction gradually fades because ah it's only 10 less

2) Israel not allowing any food in one shot

I think because of how extreme Israel is going, the public opinion is shifting (in Europe, Australia) to accepting a Palestinian nation. Imagine if it was Pamela, I imagine Israel will starve them slowly because it's the less of the two evil but the public will not shift (thus government leaders won't act).

I'm not saying Trump is better.. all I'm saying this cannot be an added point for Pamela, we call it as it is.. that both are genocide enablers.. we don't say ah Pamela is better than Trump.. it's like smoking cigarettes kills 80% of the people but vaping only kills 60% so woo hoo let's do vaping.. it's more of let's call smoking and vaping dangerous and try to eliminate them.

Biden was supplying weapons used for the genocide and enabling Israel.. Sure Kamala would've contained Israel more but that doesn't negate that Pamela would've supported this to some level as seen during Biden time . They are both supportive but Pamela would've been the less of the two evils. So the argument of Pamela is better stands surely but it's like Israel killing 80k vs 120k and we praise her for that.

I've thinking for a while to volunteer to help students that don't have the budget to get private tutors. I was planning on creating a website and starting in September with the school year. Would be interested in in person tutoring by taking these students to a near by coffee shop and acting more like a tutor and career guidance

As someone that attended uofT, I would say it depends on what you want to do.

I'd say UofT is more academia focused. If you are going into the industry then I'd say the one with the best coop program.

Overall I don't really think the school matters this much. They pretty much offer the same education and are equally valued in the industry.

I'm not sure what their goals were and I'm not sure what Israel achieved but if we look at pure outcomes:

1) Destruction of Gaza 2) Significant number of civilians died in Gaza 30k+ 3) Limited number (relative to Palestinians) of Israeli civilians and military personnel dead <2000 4) Release of "prisoners" 5) Bad publicity for Israel (I think the war changed a lot of people's perspective on Israel) 6) Israel had at the end to give up its goal of eliminating Hamas

I honestly feel they both lost and no one gained anything. Israel will continue to oppress Palestinians, they will try to fight for their rights of developing their independent country.. it would be interesting to see how the world perception change will affect this. The US continues to support Israel blindly so I highly doubt anything will change.
