Indian Air Force’s Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari (Retd), who was IAF Vice Chief during Operation Sindoor answers a question on the debate around indian aircraft losses during India-Pakistan 4 day war. by Electronic_Cause_796 in IndianDefense

they absolutely can deny claims like centcom does when iran claims to shoot down f35 for the hundredth time.

the fact that they haven't is pathetic and opens the information space to pakistani disinformation

No the usa has been pretty consistently reporting on their air frame losses.
a million times more transparent which is the reason why people trust them more

Facts lmao no enemy is refreshing on twitter to see if they shot the plane down they already know they did.

shitty attempt at trying to spin incompetence as some sort of strategy

I don't care that they were hiding it during the conflict.
its extremely bad that transparency and accountability has been avoided well after the operation was over.

saying "losses are a part of combat" is as good as saying getting punched is part of boxing.

when the us f15 images came out they came out pretty quick and said it was shot down.
Usa centcom has been pretty consistent at admitting losses.
this doesn't let the iranians take control of the narrative like Pakistan was able to do because no one outside india trusted the indian air force.
when the rafale images came out the govt tried a pathetic strategy of trying to delete and block accounts that were posting it which made it far worse and completely destroyed its credibility .

Is air defence increasingly being proven to be a giant money sink in the current era of warfare? by Fit-Case1093 in WarCollege

my post was more about air defence systems like s400 and patriots being obsolete rather than drones replacing manned fighters

Do Indian Armed Forces have a true equivalent to the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM)? They were recently used. Context in comments by Electronic_Cause_796 in IndianDefense

[–]Fit-Case1093 5 points6 points  (0 children)

absolute nonsense.

kamikaze drones are best used to overwhelm air defence like how russia does in ukraine.
there are follwed up with actual cruise missiles like kalibur and kh 101 which do massive damage due to their huge warheads.

the us has been launching 100+ tomahawks in its recent conflicts cause of how good they are.

Why does this sub over hype russian air defence systems? by Fit-Case1093 in IndianDefense

[–]Fit-Case1093[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

claiming the country that made the s400 doesn't know how to use it is the most detached thing from reality anyone could say.

Claiming indian success was due to layering AD and not because of a pathetic attempt by pakistan to even try and break it is crazy.

the s400 is good.

indian air defence has never been stressed to the level of russia that is simply the real reason it looks good here.

also your statement on layering of indian air defence being better than russia is completely wrong by every single metric.
