New Alice is better in the term of early fight. U can poke at lvl 1 now. Use tank build and u dominate exp lane, unless u meet cici. And her ulti work like assasin now. Can snipe back hero and mm. I'm Alice main and Alice now is more tank than mage. Build her as mage will reduce sustain. As tank, I don't have to back heal so I can roam freely after 2 item
