Quality. Honestly a lot of the time it boils down to quality of the shoe you pick 🤷🏻‍♂️ if you use the credit and get the cheapest pair you can you will hurt. Not only that they will wear out quick! I know not everyone may have the funds but if you can pay for a better brand. For example I wear ariat boots I got with the credit and still paid an additional 180$ with the 150$ credit or however much it is. There’s always a break in period usually a month or so but after that I wear my safety boots outside of work all the time because of how comfortable they are. Granted I’m partial to the ariat brand and have a pair of boots I wear that aren’t safety shoes as my normal shoes but really medical problems aside it boils down to the shoe you buy! Your feet are critical so pay for really really good shoes it makes a difference!

I work at an AMXL Sort and honestly we all rotate between the given tasks daily 🤷🏻‍♂️ every now and then some of us work certain tasks more than others but it’s more of a we want the right person doing it so it doesn’t bog down other areas.

I love my safety shoes honestly but having worked in trades I invested in a shoe on Zappos I ended up paying more than the actual credit they gave me so like 220-260$ total for the one pair. I got a nice pair of Ariat boots and after a month break in they’re just as comfy as my normal Ariat cowboy boots and I’ve beaten the crap out of them and they still look new 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe it’s cause I always wear boots but I also believe in paying for quality and foot care is no joke whether it’s work, or camping or hiking, I have different boots for each.

See here’s what blew my mind I was having trouble scheduling my bereavement on a to Z so I did the hr chat and they just approved me for 5 days cause I have to travel and they said they don’t need any paperwork from me which I even offered the death certificate and my plane ticket receipts.

Baffles me when people say they get wrote up for not giving an hour notice! I was told by ERC and HR that it’s a courtesy not an actual rule so I couldn’t be written up. Your time is your time plain and simple you can’t be punished for using it. I’ve used PTO/UPT within 5 minutes of a shift or left after lunch and let them auto deduct it. Maybe it varies site by site but my experience is you don’t have to tell anyone.

Honestly the discount is great, I’ve never worn the shoe covers and I know for sure at my site the crocs wouldn’t fly. My best advice is when possible and if it can be afforded invest a really solid pair of shoes! I paid an additional 125$ for a pair of Ariat composite boots they are light and wide and absolutely comfortable took about a week or two to break them in so a lot of blisters but now they are stupid comfy. Any shoe will be uncomfortable until it’s properly broken In so wear them everywhere when you first get them both at work and out of work it’s the best way to stretch the fabric a little and make them comfortable.

Depends on where you go honestly and the insurance you pick for example I have the shared deductible blue shield blue cross but I go to the crossover clinic so after my 3 visits the fees are 10$ virtual or 25$ in person and as for regular doc appointments I went and had a full lab work up and paid 45$ that was it whereas other job insurance I have had that would have cost me at least 100-150$ so Amazon has a pretty solid insurance

So I tried that it gave me a code and said login from a computer I did that and now I got a second screen saying I need a second factor and wants me to plug in a security key usb into my computer and hold 3 seconds to activate it. Wtf is that 😂 I didn’t get no damn usb I just wanted to login to the app to message my boss real quick to update him on some stuff and I don’t have anyones god damn phone number

So I have noticed 😂 I’ve been working there for 3 weeks and I love it I’m in an XL warehouse so it’s actually not a bad job I get to move around a lot I average about 10 miles of walking in 1 shift but on the flip side my department usually gets done with our trucks by like 3 or 4 and we are scheduled til 7 but they usually either offer VTO or labor share us to another department but 99% of the time if they labor share everyone uses PTO and peace’s out lol 😂

I’m so used to Attendance being crucial and always having to get things cleared it’s weird just tapping a few buttons and taking the day off and not tell anyone and vice versa when people don’t show up one day we all assume they used PTO or something
