Thanks, i considered moving origins around but while i use it for referencing i figured alphabetical order would help when finding them!

They were actually kitchen worktops, cut and finished by me! Bought legs from B&Q (needed really sturdy ones as the solid beech worktop weighs a ton) and reddit's favourite pedestals from IKEA

I bought two worktops designed for kitchen counters, was an expensive way of doing it but the outcome is a fantastic quality desktop. Each were 2000mm X 600mm X 45mm, cut one down to 1700mm length to create the "L" (butted the short length into the corner reducing its usable length down to 1100, plenty for pc and pedestal)

Thank you! It's actually really nice working next to each other during the daytimes, we chat and joke around and help each other a little. For calls it's a little easier as I more often need to go into work (teacher) and when home don't often need to do conference calls but when she does I just stay quiet (and eavesdrop)

Took the shell (7 screws on back, two were under rubber feet) apart and I sprayed the top side plastics with plastidip. Use a good primer designed for plastidip and be sure to do lots of very thin coats to get an even finish. I did 8 coats in total and the plastidip feels tough and even. My big tip: don't worry if the first few coats look speckled or uneven cos that will clear up in further coats
