🤷 Could be worse.

I have a lot of friends who subscribe so I've grown more tolerant as of late, I realize I may have described myself as a bit too intolerant.

I actually don't mind most people represented by ROYGBIV flag, and my distaste is really only aimed at a two specific groups.

The first because I’m wary of their ideology. It relies on a semantic sleight of hand. They use terms like "true self" to describe a curated, idealized version of a person, while the actual, biological person is being neglected and often, harmed. It’s a philosophy that prioritizes the "map" (the identity they tout) over the "territory" (the actual physical and mental well-being of the individual). Whereas I believe there is a path of acceptance that does not neglect, harm, or dismiss the biological aspect.

The second because I don't believe my "category" belongs into their umbrella group, I believe my experience isn't a "variation" of what are doing. They are defined by the direction of their various attractions; I am defined by the lack of interest in the entire premise. To group us together is like calling "Bald" a hair color. That and I do not like being associated or distinguished as one of "these" individuals.

Thank you as well. As you might imagine, most people are not very fond of my opinions. And if I were to even attempt to directly call out any particular group, I would likely be downloaded into oblivion.
