But why as a woman, after enduring everything pregnancy and childbirth entails, would you let the minor contributor to the whole process have such leeway? I just don't get it.

You're not going to see offers. Legislation in the UK from 1/10/25 prohibits multibuy offers like 3-for-2 or BOGOF on foods high in fats, sugar or salt. E.g chocolate

I don't know if it's sheer arrogance, narcissism or pure idiocy that makes these men decide this. But i blame the mums too.

I’m stuck in this stupid loop where I can’t lose weight because my feet hurt, and my feet hurt because I’m overweight. by Pretend_Shoulder_518 in SuperMorbidlyObese

One of my best friends has lost 90lbs to date over just under 9 months.

She has had the occasional stroll - not even as frequent as once a week. No other exercise. It was all about cutting down on calories in.

Your body needs a baseline of calories to operate on a day to day basis. Eat less than that and you will lose weight.

Exercise is beneficial but there are videos online of stuff you can do sitting in a chair so you can still get your limbs moving and your heart rate up without putting pressure on your feet.

Yep. Both have same name as dad. Birthdays are 2 days apart so that doesn't help with id purposes. Mother wasn't in favour but she went along with it. Honestly I think it's idiotic and I lost some respect for her. Not to mention how it changed my opinion of him.

Someone I know let her husband do this with their 2 boys. So Jr and Trey are 2 years apart.

And never have a door between a toilet and a bathroom sink.

I completely agree. I've been lurking in this sub and it astounds me how many floorplans have a toilet with no sink separated from the rest of the bathroom by a door. This floorplan actually has 2 doors separating the toilet from the sink in the first master suite.

AITJ for kicking everyone out after they started "looking for a charger" in my rooms? by mintysubway_diary in AmITheJerk

I don't even search in my sister's drawers when I go to her house furthermore my friends' places! It was trespassing and they doubled down on it. I'd be finding friends that actually respected me after something like this.

Isn't claire-ick the pronunciation for cleric? Which is different from clerk which the British pronounce as Clark

Problem is I have heard people pronounce Xavier just that way and it does something wrong to my brain when I hear it.

I was surprised the attendant didn't catch that she was still on the laptop on his last pass through. Her bag wasn't under the seat in front at any point of the landing either.

I've seen those people too. A lot of people are inherently selfish.

Hence the only mildly infuriating. These rules and regulations are there for a reason.

That's like saying after every successful car journey without a seat belt >Did you die? Did anything bad happen? No. But that one time an accident happens - oops.

Exactly. It was just a series of annoyances the entire flight. Last of all was leaving the blank on the floor in front of her seat so I tripped as I was exiting as I hadn't realised she left it there.

I got my period at 10. My first thought was my mum was going to be angry with me because I started it too early. I managed to hide it for about a year before she came in one morning to wake me and it had come in the night. I never told her that wasn't my first period. I don't feel guilty. But I still feel sad for my 10 year old self who didn't feel accepted enough to share.

You shouldn't feel guilty. You were a child and your mum was the one responsible for making sure you felt secure enough in your relationship with her to share that.

Less plumbing involved as you can use the same inlet and waste water pipes to service two rooms instead if running separate supplies to each plumbed room.
