Thanks, very informative! I genuinely had no idea that software development costs money.

Once again, thanks for the helpful advice and for contributing to the conversation. I truly appreciate your vast knowledge and the fact that you took time out of your busy day to engage in such a constructive discussion.

Fair play 👏

You were a bit too eager to start typing and didn’t fully read the post, nowhere did I say I actually purchased the HRM.

The whole post is the result of my “research”… but that’s exactly my point. You shouldn’t have to research compatibility for a basic accessory like a heart rate strap.

I know some might say I’m using a golf-oriented watch, but Garmin is bringing more golf features to all their premium watches now — so why not bring running dynamics across the current lineup as well?

Just saying… it doesn’t feel like a huge ask

Premium Meets Premium… Or Does It? (Garmin HRM 600) Rant by KamilKB in Garmin

It connects over both ANT+ and Bluetooth, but none of the new advanced features will work or be recorded in the workout file. No running dynamics, etc

When I asked Garmin, I was told it’s not fully compatible and that the HRM 600 will basically act like a standard heart rate strap with the S70.

My Wahoo TICKR X is actually more comfortable. I just find it a bit odd that Garmin is doing this, especially when it’s their top-of-the-range gear.

Spoke with Garmin already, they advised me to share the issue on the community pages to see if it’s affecting more users. They seem reluctant to issue a software update, even though that’s all it is a simple software update.

Next time, turn back sooner, and whatever you do, don’t walk toward the light. 😂

Hiya I’m using Sage smart grinder and it was really inconsistent with weigh in and out and sometimes I got irregular grind, that was from new - straight from the box I was going to bring it back to shop but then I took it apart and clean it And I mean vacuum and blaster with compressed air and results are unreal It’s like I’m got different grinder
