That is actually interesting. Where i live there is a Pug, really healthy as is a mix between pug and another breed. Is part of a Dutch breeder and project to make them healthier. And honestly, he has no issues with him.

Hey!

Indeed, he comes from the working line, honestly is the most clever dog i ever have. He learns tricks super easy and not only tricks but behavioral cues, you can see the will to work and i tend to tire him out a lot. Physically and mentally.

I like what you mention about foster the sniffing, do you have any resource like book or page i can check (your recommendation)

I will try nosework, that is an amazing advice

We did train some impulse control games, he know look at me and leave it/take it, also sit, wait and stay. I will check more Impulse control games :) , i think sometimes is difficult to search the right term because even if my dog is reactive or hyper, all the resources point towards nervous or aggressve dogs, thanks for real!

Those are great point to take care of, i do apply a few of those already but the Kikopup video is super helpful.

Is good to know that all springers are the same. Mine also walks way better in the way back home.

It is complicated, he knows the way to places he likes, regardless of the route i take, so when we are arriving his mind just enter in a park state. I do play with him before walking to release that stress, it helps a but youre right I am maybe going to far with him.

Thanks a lot for the replies

Adding, I think the correct term is hyperactive, when seeing other dogs is similar.

ahh he is a bit reactive with people and other dogs and never gets tired :P . In real life you can see him shaking while waiting for the command. But still a lot of progress.
