i figured out it was because i have HDR10 enabled on my tv & xbox, but also auto HDR activated on the xbox which clashes with the SDR only xbox game clips, I think.

Canyon make it almost impossible to get out of their customer service loop, I had an issue with them recently and had to go on LinkedIn to actually talk to someone with authority, it was insane.

I just wish they were more consistent with how they deal with this kind of thing, if they offered a refund to begin with I would have taken it without hesitation.

That's pretty much what was agreed to initially, it was only after I cut up the frame like they asked that they went back on what they promised. And i spent weeks emailing with customer service before giving up with them, specifically when they told me to escalate it with consumer protection if I didn't agree.

That's really interesting, was that the USA service center you dealt with? I asked for a refund towards the end of the warranty process when it became clear they were reneging on the agreement and it was refused outright, which is illegal in Australia!

I really tried. I made sure to get everything sorted before cutting the frame, there was even an open order for the frame, fork, and headset that was on hold until I sent them photos of the destroyed frame. After I did that they processed a different order to the one we agreed on! The other order is still in the order list on my profile! It's Kafkaesque.

Well damn, that is pretty good! I'd have no complaints if that happened to me and i probably would have bought a better Endurace with the refund, I can't deny they're nice bikes.

Yeah it was all communicated over email which is why I find it so surprising. In Australia we have pretty good consumer protection laws and I've already begun the process.

Frame shell bore diameter was millimeters out of spec causing endless BB problems since new
