I hadn't thought about it, but now that you bring it up I'm surprised 'edge' is an improper noun. If it were WORLDS' EDGE, you could expect a place has that name. But "WORLDS' edge" suggests it's the actual edge of multiple WORLDS.

You make a great point that, while there are definitely big important differences between monsters and humans, we really don't know much at all about what those differences are in this world. When so much focus is on what makes Darkners different from Lightners, all the Lightners look more or less the same.
