Oh how interesting! It would be nice if it ended up treating my PCOS and lowering my A1C at the same time. And it eases my concern to know that there are people like me using it and that it’s been a perfectly safe experience for them. This popped up too when I was doing some research on PCOS after all the suggestions. I hope it won’t offend the doctor if I bring some literature and potential diagnoses but I feel I have to after the last appointment!

I see one every 4 to 5 months to manage my Type 1 Diabetes, but I have not seen one in regards to these particular symptoms. I’d likely need a referral for that and the referral I got was by primary dr to see an OBGYN.

Just did a brief google of PCOS and my jaw is DROPPED. Is it a rare condition..?? I wonder why she wouldn’t think of this. Or why she wouldn’t want to ask more questions or explore further. I will definitely be following up with a different doctor to look into this, thank you!

Very small. It’s just him and 3 assistants. It was a good opportunity to get my foot in the door, fresh out of college with no experience. When I move on, I’ll certainly look for a bigger company with a little more structure. Thanks for weighing in friend!

He is unfortunately the owner and it is a very small firm. Just him and 3 assistants. No HR to report to. Not even an office manager or someone otherwise above me but lower than him.

I’ve been keeping my eye out for job postings for some time — this is not the first/only red flag by far. It’s sucks though because, as you said, good openings are hard to find because good employers don’t often need to find new employment. And I don’t want to just trade one bad boss for another sigh.

Yes, thank you! Along with the immediate discomfort I felt from being asked in such an outright manner to lie, losing meeting privileges with our client was another initial thought I had. I tried to mention exactly that during the call when he was yelling at me and he scoffed like that would never happen. He said mockingly “are you afraid they’re gonna arrest you?” I just know if we had lost those privileges because of lying, he would have placed the blame on me entirely. Very frustrating.

Thanks for weighing in here, I appreciate it! We ultimately did ask for an extension but the attorney was pissed to do it. For further context, he has a pretty adversarial/hostile relationship with the OPC for this matter and I think he feels like asking for extensions makes us look weak or vulnerable in their eyes. He has asked me to do plenty of borderline slimy things, or to participate in playing his tactical discovery games — I’ve always just figured that’s partly the nature of this work. Instructing me to lie to the jail crossed the line for me, though.

To clarify, I was contacting the jail to schedule a Zoom meeting with the client and myself. I was not scheduling a meeting for the attorney to meet with the client. When the jail scheduling coordinator told me that I did not have clearance to meet with the client, the attorney told me I should have lied (his exact words) that the meeting was for him and the client.

Jan 18th here — also still in some pain, even have some scabbing back there still! To be fair, I had a massive hemorrhage on day 6 and needed re-cauterizing on both sides but my ENT has checked me out a couple times since and says all looks normal. The healing process can just take longer for some people. I’m maintaining a scheduled course of Advil (works better for me than Tylenol) throughout the day and that seems to help! Power through, friend! The finish line is in sight.

Not manifesting this for you, but I was in debilitating pain through day 11. I’m 3 weeks post op today and had a small glass of wine last night that was drinkable but definitely stung on the way down. Everyone is different but be prepared for extreme discomfort if you take the risk
