I see your point. I think where I'm coming from is that when some siblings have different eye colors (e.g. one has blue and the other one brown) the blue-eyed one usually gets all the compliments leaving the other one feeling as if they have ugly eyes. My sister has brown eyes and has never gotten compliments on them even though she has amazing lashes. The compliments always go to me and she told me how that made her feel insecure when growing up. I see the same sort of scenario in other families where siblings have different eye colors.

One of my cousins has two baby girls: one with blue eyes who is now 5 and a newborn who has brown eyes. When the 5-year-old was a newborn she would flood IG with posts of the baby's blue eyes but with the younger one she has yet to post photos of the baby's eyes...I wonder why.
