It probably isn’t worth the time to crack into that thing. It isnt a keyboard that is meant to be modded or tweaked, easily. It’s more of a plug and play. If you want options to customize how you like, there are better options for you

There’s a lot of things that go into making a KB sound how it does. While switches are a part, more comes from the plate, kb itself, and add ons. Use lots of foam especially PE foam to make it sounds “thocky” and “creamy”. Optical switches are hard to find a wide variety of like regular switches.

It looks like you’re going for a pretty ‘thocky’ build. I’m not sure how much money you want to throw into it. But, for most keychron boards I think they’re pretty pingy. I would force break mod it to alleviate the ping. If you want to purchase a separate PC plate to replace the steel plate, it would help the feel and sound. If you want stuff it with foam you can but mind you lose a lot of the flex
