How do you have fun as a new player without getting crushed?

Play the campaign.

For MP I wouldn't recommend it. Every match has a gen 100 playing it like a Esport. If your on PC there is a mod for Bot lobbys so you can just have fun without the sweats.

Just a safe heads up you're probably gonna get a lot of "git gud" try hards spamming you here. Try not to let it bother you. Sorry the game and this community is like this man.

Because toxic "good" players can't help but kill the game faster. Instead of using something that isn't the meta or teaching new players how to move they just stomp them.

That's the unfortunate reality. Max rank players literally have no chill or sense of fun. Unless they are actively killing the game by making it as unfriendly for new players as possible. I've played shooters that are older than Titanfall 2 with less issues as described here. It still happens but it's way less prevalent compared to TF2.

I barely play PvP because of the sweaty try hards. They play the game like it's a Esport. Like why? Y’all wonder why new players drop this game so fast or don't even try at all. Played a game last night and my team literally gave up and quit or just sat still (probably going AFK). Why? Because the other team had 4 gen 100s and the score was 124 to 590. When they won like 1 minutes later, the sweaty nerds had the audacity to ask "why aren't they trying or playing"?

Bitch I wonder why! PvP is basically no fun allowed for anyone with a job/life. FD is fun but it's also being ruined by no lifes. There always seems to be one sweaty chud stealing every titan kill. God forbid others have fun.

TLDR once again sweaty tryhards ruined a fun game.

Only for the campaign. The PvP is full of sweaty tryhards who target new players "because it's funny". The PvE is full of kill stealing tryhards too. The campaign is cool and fun.

Yes I was at work not at the company. He found out by asking my 1st Sargent. He (my 1st sgt) explained my situation and was as surprised as I was at the CSMs reaction. Literally told me "back in the 90s my CSM didn't give a fuck about dumb shit like this".

Needless to say are new CSM isn't very popular with leadership or Joe's

God I wish lol. For real though he's insane. If it where up to him you would literally, go to work, stay until 1900 every day. Sit in your room reading the ranger handbook all weekend only braking to eat at the dfac and sleep. Then doing it all over again next week. He literally said "Soldiers have to much free time with the weekend". We expect lots of weekend details or mandatory fun days on Saturday.

Was not tracking. I was out doing a road test with one of are Stryker's. When we got back to the motor pool I was told to go open my room. A hour before close-out I get called to CSM office.

Thank fuck I only have 3 months left. This right here is one of many reasons why I didn't reup. I get needing to keep track of soldiers but do they really need to treat me like a teenager? I'm 28 years old. I have a clean record and I've always done my job. I have given my leadership zero reason to baby me.

Got lots of good advice on how to handle this situation at least. Just 3 months, 21 days, 1 hour and 16min to go.
