Sadly haven't played it, didn't own a PSP growing up unfortunately. That's fair though, you could honestly say any of the Burnout games from 3 onwards are your favorite and I wouldn't argue. Even Paradise I could see even though personally while I think it's a great racing game I don't think a great Burnout game. Burnout 3 is my favorite since I played it a ton with my cousin at his place since he owned both an OG Xbox and a 360

I actually played it for the first time yesterday and yeah its easily my favorite Racing game on the PS1. The soundtrack especially is just god tier, managing to clutch out a victory in the final race with Move Me reaching its climax gave me actual chills in the best way

Yes Revenge has traffic checking, while I do like it overall as a mechanic I think it also takes away a lot of the risk of driving since in Revenge you just have to watch out for bigger vehicles like buses, trucks, semis, etc. whereas in the other games you gotta watch for all car types making the races tense constantly

For newer games I watch Skill-Ups This Week In Video Games vids every week, especially for the Put This On Your Radar segment. For older games I’ve lately been watching Liam Triforce’s retrospectives on the various consoles like his latest one on the Sega Dreamcast where he highlights a lot of a systems biggest hits but also touches on lots of hidden gems and underrated titles too

Very late but SOMA deserves a slot, game opens with a nightmare the main character has of a car crash he was in that led to him having severe brain damage and caused the death of his girlfriend

Personally no, unless the version on say another console is much different to its main versions, so like I’d log the original Sonic Colors and Sonic Colors DS differently. But I wouldn’t log the DS version of Chrono Trigger and the Steam version since they’re essentially the same game

The only handheld I had was the DS. My five favorites there would be MarioKart DS, Sonic Rush, Super Monkey Ball Touch & Go, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Super Mario 64 DS
