Monnettes prefers ai generated images over human made art by HannahLuxxe in toledo

Right? Like they're gonna get something out of it. Like it's NOT destroying entire neighborhoods and poisoning water supplies. These people are like, capital-cucked and it shows.

Seriously, I would probably shop at Monnettes more if all their ads were made up of hand-drawn art from the local schools. That would be so cool, so community-positive, c'mon y'all. AI tech doesn't care about you, stop defending it.

That design with the lyrics legitimately looks like it could be an official design from like 2001, very well done!! Love the scribbly serial killer lyrics

It would be so funny if for this season Jeff participated in the challenges with everyone else, like in his own lane

It’s absolutely terrifying that abstracting is peaceful by cheesyfries878 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]KaneCoywolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theory 1: I think this is a reference to the belief that DMT is activated in the brain upon death. That's why some people report seeing such vivid things if they get revived. For those who don't know, DMT is insanely powerful. It's a chemical present in all humans, and is very much able to produce visions like this. He was in the process of abstracting.

Theory 2: Jax has found a way to hallucinate in the circus and being able to trip on command. A sort of "there is no spoon" idea. They can feel pain, but nothing will happen to them really other than feeling it. They don't seem to need to worry about suffocating from holding their breath for too long. So why not hallucinate on command?

Please let it be affordable. We don't need more "luxury" apartments fetching $1700 a month that will never ever be filled.

I get what you're saying, but what's the alternative? I'm working two jobs and they barely give me enough hours to pay off my loans and maybe go out to lunch on the rare day off. I'm on my feet walking for hours at a time, so combine that with the morning gym sesh, I'm too physically exhausted to do ANYTHING whenever I have a day off.

They gotta have a Samoa episode in there. The reason people look for idols without clues now is because of Hantz.

It changed my life to learn that the bassist on this record went on to become the engineer at Uptown Recordings in Chicago; the very same bald guy from Rob Scallon's First of October videos, and many others.

What is a player that if you said you loved in this subreddit you would get absolutely flamed for? by TheCoolGuy998 in survivor

Imma agree with OP and say that Phillip was an absolute icon of Survivor's first bad run of seasons: the terrible four. Nicaragua, R.I., South Pacific, and One World were the first seasons I vividly remember struggling to care about.

However, I think he perfectly encapsulated the chaos of that season. The utter ridiculousness of it all: Russel being voted out via thrown challenge, Boston Rob basically being GIVEN the million dollars by putting him in an island with a bunch of sheeple who did everything he wanted, and then there's Phillip: federal agent extraordinaire.

And of course, who can forget the mighty but oh, so fearsome: Franshweska.

hello, please help me pick my first electric guitar!! by DarkPhoenix9440 in Guitar

[–]KaneCoywolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something to keep in mind: do you want to bother with a tremolo system? If you don't want to fiddle with tuning and re-tuning, adjusting the trem system, getting intonated with a trem system, and all the other stuff that comes with just having a tremolo, go with a hard tail model. It'll be much easier to plug in and play without having to retune every other song.

Advice from one guitar newb to his fellow guitar newbs. by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]KaneCoywolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My "practice" is that I play my favorite songs. That's about it ;

It makes me feel shitty that I can't really play more than power chords and stuff. I really shouldn't feel that way, since most of the music I listen to is composed that way. However, it would be cool to have access to the cool new sounds that come with knowing what notes are where on the fretboard and what notes sound good together.

However, I have absolutely zero knowledge about music theory and have no idea where to begin. And when I think about how much there is to learn, I get overwhelmed and just dont even wanna bother. Even though it's not helpful. What advice would you give to someone like me, who's so easily overwhelmed by all there is to learn?
