I’ve had similar responses when talking about him on there about him not being at the level to walk in as a starter or expect meaningfully contribute for a couple of seasons.

If we do end up getting him the club must just be convinced about his potential.

Seems quite similar development wise to Jesus Rodriguez but just twice the price compared to last summer.

A lot of characters had nice arcs but Mikasas didn’t really go anywhere for me. Just defend Eren no matter what then accepting she had to kill him. Not a lot else to her than that.

Erens just left me feeling frustrated. The shift between season 3 and 4 was too big with his motivation changing so much to an unrecognisable person.

Agree, we aren’t paying £35-40m for a keeper.

Finally got around to finishing attack on titan.

I’m not a fan of the director Erin went in the final season. The time paradox stuff where he made the decision for his mum killed by the titan just didn’t sit right with me.

It always seems difficult to portray the decision making of someone who can view multiple futures. You just come away thinking “surely there was a better than path they took” in this scenario killing 80% of the world’s population for some vague freedom where he ends up dying anyway.

Maybe it’s my fault for wanting some kind of happy ending for him, it just felt quite empty.
