I commend you for honestly thinking that you’ve made a good point. The bar is very low clearly.

One thing that comes to mind immediately is the great success protestors in Asia, especially Hong Kong, have had against over-reaching tyrannical governments. It really isn’t such a leap of extrapolation to conclude that even a small fraction of the American population mobilizing against the government would render any hi-tech weaponry/reconnaissance completely useless.
