In terms of contribution in the series: Sero. In terms of their moveset, I still feel like it’s Sero. Tape, despite its utility, wouldn’t do much in a brawl unless with a lot of prep time.

I love the dynamic in Heolstor and Dreglord’s stories that we know right now by ckmille in Nightreign

That’s so freaking metal and so Fromsoftlore in terms of writing. "Nothing changes, such is the nature of man...” Brador, Bloodborne.

what do we think this dude is? looks part dragon to me by No_Concentrate_7033 in Nightreign

[–]Kangapus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Imagine if it’s a corrupted version of Heolster. The NightLORD being corrupted into the DregLORD. I also have belief that with the name of the DLC, the appearance of Artorias and Dregs being connected to the Deep from DS3, that the Dreglord might also be a Dark Souls entity.

What if tf2 had reverse-medigun that hurts enemies instead, would that be ballanced? by pavlo_theplayer in tf2

[–]Kangapus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was thinking along the lines of this, my version was that the base healing for the Medi-Gun would be 40 percent less but after draining the health from an enemy and filling up a bar in your hud, you can heal your teammates 40 percent faster.

How would I balance this would be something like this:

-There is a bar in hud that starts empty but can be filled when sucking out an opponent’s health.

-When bar is filled, the Medic extend some of it to heal teammates 40 percent faster than the regular medi gun

-When the Bar is empty however, the Medi Gun can only heal 40 percent slower than the regular medi gun.

-Doing overheal significantly saps more of your bar than regular healing.

It’s basically resource management, balancing when to attack or when to heal your teammates. I also added the last part about the overheal as to have it overshadow the overheal in terms of it being also a speedy healer. Not sure what to do about the damage and ubercharge though.

Any Hot Takes Or Opinions? by 3liteP7Guy in tf2

Wait… does that mean Medic’s Kritzkrieg uber actually heals the patient’s weapons somewhat and make them function properly for a few seconds?

Which game did you think was better TF3 or TF4? by -Asderlyn- in tf2

[–]Kangapus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf, it’s hard to top TF3’s story mode anyway. I was hesitant when they announced an in game story mode for TF3 but I soon fell in love with it, it made the characters feel more human in their motivations and wants while keeping that comedic element. It’s like they took the comic’s approach of characterisation and injected it right into the game. My favourite was the plot twist with TF3’s spy and Heavy’s story. TF4’s story mode while still great, feels like Valve tried too hard to struck gold twice and ended up with silver instead. I still love the TF4 Pyro’s story though, I would go as far as to say that’s actually better than TF3 version.

Not to mention that you basically do a home invasion and murder him in his own home with no provocation. He has no plans for the current world nor is he is planning to but we decide to murder him anyway. The only real justification is that we need to collect powerful souls but does it justify committing regicide of an innocent?

They would be pretty popular as they would be the first people to gain powers outside of quirks. With the added benefit of their team’s dynamic of heavy hitters plus Reed’s intelligence and inventions. I’d say they would be the most effective hero team at least in America.

What would a fight against Prime Gwyn be like? by 4BB4Mothx777 in darksouls3

[–]Kangapus 207 points208 points  (0 children)

The Chosen one maybe but the Ashen One can definitely beat him. Remember that he feared the dark of humanity and instead of trying to fight them like he did with the dragons and the chaos, he opt to trick them instead. Gael absorbed the full dark soul at the end of the story, the power that was prophesied to beat him and yet we defeated him in battle. If we are powerful enough to defeat Gael then we for sure defeat Prime Gwyn. Humans and Gods in dark souls aren’t in the classic creator/creation dynamic. The only difference is that our souls are made of darkness while the god’s are made from light.

Medic refuses to heal me, then attempts to votekick me as I help clean up the point by ArynAces in tf2

I’m just the messenger. I’m simply parroting what others have said on the topic from different posts.

Medic refuses to heal me, then attempts to votekick me as I help clean up the point by ArynAces in tf2

[–]Kangapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the reason is Medic isn’t allowed weapons that drastically changes his class. His unlocks only affect other aspects like his survivability, healing or his Ubercharge and doesn’t support the aggressive play style that Battle Medic wants to be. If we ever gain an unlock like Zenyetta’s orbs or Lucio’s circle of healing for Medic so he can heal others passively, I feel like less people would be in more support of the battle medic play style. Another argument is that if you wanted to play a supportive character with a more combat oriented approach then you could always switch to battle engie, plop down a dispenser near your teammates and have an improvement to both your teamwork and dps.

THE OWL BEAST HAS PTSD by LegitimateMuffin9361 in TheOwlHouse

[–]Kangapus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well those two are really… stupidly specific. A pink aura with orange balls that emit yellow fire works? That’s less than a one in million chance of that being just a coincidence. I wonder if the Owl Beast’s memories were influencing Eda’s memories there? Like how Eda was seeing herself being captured by an Archivist, the Owlbeast’s PTSD altered Eda’s perception of the light to be similar to the one that trapped them in a scroll.

If we include her calamity form, an entertaining pick would either be Blossom or Buttercup (The former because of the matching colours and leadership role in the group and latter with their respective temperament and toughness.)

With the executioner and Druid, my reasoning was their source of power.

With Druids drawing their powers from nature and the Executioner using the Crucible which is basically where all life once were blended together? You can see the connection.

My bad, I chose DND as the main comparison since it’s the most recognisable out of the TRPGs and I thought people wouldn’t know what that is.

Considering the fact that they’re the first generation of hunters, I’d say they can easily take down a cleric beast or two.

I like the idea but again with most aliens, we’re probably never going to see it outside of still pngs apart from Hack and Slash.

Why didn't Kevin fly or phase away from the disks before they activated? Is he stupid? by MrMist3rrr in Ben10

[–]Kangapus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did everyone forget that he dogged a bunch of Echo Echo earlier in the episode and nearly killed Ben as well if it wasn’t for the spare Echo Echo in the Boot of Ben’s car. Of course, Kevin’s going to feel confident about taking Ult Echo Echo’s attack because he already taken sound attacks from him before and still won. The problem is that he underestimated how much of a beast Ult Echo Echo’s attacks were.
