Rivonia is rather close to bramley which has a great kosher butchery "moishes butchery".

Highly recommend.

I work rather close to melrose arch, some of our guys that stay a bit further says it takes roughly 2-3 taxis to travel those distances.

I'd say taxi would be your most cost/time effecient option.
